Yep, I paid the cruise in full a couple weeks ago as well. The cruise payment and airfare…the two biggest chunks of $$. It’s rather nice to have that all done and now to start saving for “extras”. I have to wait still until the 75 day mark before the online ressies. I can’t help to worry that all the good stuff will be gone then. :worried:

I think we finally have our pre- and post- WDW days figured out too. Guys..remind me next time I visit WDW to stay IN the world. I made a big mistake by booking hotels outside the World, simply for the fact that we got them free through Air Reward Miles. However, the amount we may have saved for free hotel rooms, is going right into ground transportation :confused3 to get us around.

The weather here has been horrid. We have had some terrible flooding and a couple tornados in southern Alberta which is affecting the weather province-wide. How am I ever going to work on my golden trip tan like this?? :cold:

hi all...here's a Thursday bump!!!! I will be paying my cruise off in a few days. I'm a CC member....so I can book 90 days out.

Would anyonr be interested in joining me at Palo and/or sharing a table at the late dinner seating? I'm traveling alone, and I hoping for great tablemates :)
 
SmilingMouse (Becky?) - Chrystina & I have made no specific arrangements for late sitting dinner yet. We like to share big tables for the company & camaraderie. We are available if you would like to share a table ... Perhaps a few more folks too... More the better.

Would'nt it be great if we could get a table for all our DIS group? We are on late seating too. Will DCL allow us to do that? I think that's superb idea.
 
We are late seating as well. It would be nice to eat with everyone! I don't know how this works for sure, but isn't there something about linking reservations or something like that? The more the merrier!!! Last time me, my husband, and our 2 kids were seated at a table for 4. That meant no tablemates, and I missed having other adults to talk to! This sounds like a fun idea!

Wow, look what I started, lol!!!!!! Dennis, I'd be happy to take you ip on that offer!!! I agree, we should try to get a great big DIS table (can you imagine the craziness:) )

So, how do we do this? If no one knows, I can e-mail my TA to ask!

Ok, this is the information I got from Dana. There are tables for 4, tables for 6 and tables for 8. We can either be seated by: A) cross referencing our I.D. numbers for dining via our travel agents or B) Going to the Dining Coordinator once we get on the boat and having us all seated in the same section/tables.

By the way, how many of us are there?
 
It looked like we are going to have to do a poll and a headcount. How many are at the early seating and how many are at the late seating? We are at the late seating and there will be 3 of us.
 
And I'm solo....so we're up to 4. Dennis and Chrystina (sp?) are two...se we're up to 6...
 
My family of 4 is at late seating as well. This brings the total up to 10 so far. Yes, Dana said we would need everyone's numbers. I don't know how everyone is going to feel about giving out their I.D. numbers. Isn't it a piece of information that you don't want to post online for just anyone who happens to be reading on here would see? What does everyone else think? Am I just being weird? Overly cautious? Would it be better to go to the dining room coordinator after we board to make changes to sit together? That might be hard to get everyone together! See, this is how I get...I just obsess and worry over everything! :crazy: :crazy: :crazy: :crazy:
 
Here's another question....do ALL of our TAs need this info, or does only one TA need it? Perhaps we can work something out with Dana? I agree with you, bj's mom, I feel an OCDattack coming on...just wait tul Dennis reads this, lol
 
Same here. I would'nt feel comfortable giving a ID number. I like the idea of seeing how we can make it work onboard. Perhaps it may be hard to get everyone together for the first night, with the settling in and unpacking, but maybe we could make arrangements to meet somewhere later or the next day. Or does the dining coordinator need to know right away?
 
Oh..by the way. Don't mean to get off topic here, but just a warning. It looks like this board is still safe, but there is a contagious illness going around the DIS boards and it's spreading like wildfire. It started on the community boards, and now I see it's made into the DCL boards. If you see the word "Hanname"..stay clear!!
