Hi guys!!

Wow, we're pretty quiet today...well, quiet for us anyway! My day has been interesting....I did a mystery shop this afternoon. After I finished that, my "second mom" and I stared planning a tentative trip to Tokyo and Hong Cng in either 4/06 or 4/07 depending on price and availability!

WOOO HOOO!!! I'm going to Asia.....hopefully, planning this trip will cushion the blow of "lnot winning" the other trip from Deanna two weeks ago!!!

Take care everyone :)

That is awesome news! I know you were excited to go to Asia and complete your list of Disney places. I am happy for you! It will be here before you know it!:goodvibes

Keri - I like your diamond story from your previous cruise. How are you feeling??

I plan on giving the coffee pot a good baking soda cleaning so that the coffee will taste soooooo goooood!!!! :goodvibes Kim, does that mean your DH will allow you to have down time if I'm stuck having him follow me around with a coffee mug? :rolleyes1

Didi :wizard:

ha ha ha ha ha ha ha :rotfl: :rotfl2: :rotfl:

I told DH today about my cruise friend who drinks JBM and is bringing her own pot and grinder. His response???? "What room is she in" :rotfl2: :rotfl2: . You don't know how close you are when you say he will be following you with his coffee cup :rotfl: :rotfl:
I'm sure he would be happy to give you guys a morning wake up visit. :rotfl2:
Drug dogs smell for Dope.........DH can sniff out the "GOOD" coffee.........

Ingrid: Keep your hope alive :flower: :grouphug:

I'm feeling pretty good today.
Its cool and rainey so spent the day inside. Got 1/2 house dusted and vacumed....WOOO HOOO....its only been a month :teeth: . Got packing list completed...i think :bitelip: . Verified rental car info, paid bills for sept. Got my to-do list on calender, completing final shopping list....etc......YEAH!!!! The OCD has finally kicked back in!!!!!!! :cheer2: :cheer2:

We're becoming Weather Channel Addicts :rotfl: Keeping our eyes on those storms.......No Hurricane Dance  :cool1: :cheer2: :bounce: :bounce:
M-in-law called this am in a panic that we are going to get attached by a hurricane on our cruise........I tried to convince her a cruise ship is the safest place to be but I don't think she will calm down until we return safe and sound.

Kim,

The Weather Channel is always on in this household. 8PM Storm Stories is the best, you know hurricanes, tornados (Julie and Deanna have you seen any?), ice storms, floods.... no wonder my 8 year old has nightmares!!!! :rotfl2: When I have travelled for my job I leave that station on because of the smooth jazz it plays. Totally the best station ever, and the next best is the food channel.

Tell your DH he can follow me only if he buys me a mug for my collection. :rotfl2: It will be nice to know another coffee snob. :snooty:

Well, we have a late dinner on tonight, we are programming our bodies for the late rotation. Fresh Swordfish :fish: marinated with fresh ginger, garlic, soy sauce and lemon. The roasted garlic and olive oil couscous is almost done along with the steamed summer squash.

I'm rather tired tonight and I got a good chunk of packing done. Tonight' ::yes:: s movie is Finding Nemo, love Crush!!! Righteous, Righteous Dude. :cool1: :cool1: Boy do I miss my boogie board.

I get back on again after 10:15PM before I stumble off to bed.

Looking forward to meeting Mr. Ray real soon!!

Thank goodness, the kids and I have never seen a tornado. A couple of years ago, we had a pretty active tornado season around the area, and my husband was driving and saw a tornado that ended up hitting an neighborhood where his company runs the swimming pools. Scary!

My kids are terrified of tornados because they watched "The Wizard of Oz." I didn't think I would be paying for letting them watch that movie, but I have.

No need to watch the Wx Channel at the moment. Have one of those afternoon desert thunderstorms sitting directly overhead!! Can look about a mile in any direction and see beautiful blue skies and sunshine but it is lightning strikes, thunder and torrential rain here. :umbrella:

Keri ~ Chrystina  loves sewing. If I gave her a choice between another piece of jewelry or more sewing equipment ... :confused3 Buying a house requires a major analysis of the "sewing room". :teeth: Go ahead ... just start mention sewing to her. :cloud9:

Becky ~ Congrats on the plans to go to Asia! Sounds great! Still thinking about parasailing at Castaway Cay?

Dennis

You guys are way too funny. I wish I could go back and read all of these pages. It's nice that you all have gotten to know each other so well, thhat will make the cruise just that much more fun! I have read some pages here and there, but just way too many! You are all way too fun!
Cathy

This has been a long day... :sunny: it started way to early!!! I am so ready for bed!!!

Went to dinner and you'll have filled up a couple of pages!!! Woo Hoo that 3003 is getting closer and closer!!! :hourglass

Did I tell you'll that Eric and I painted our laundry room "Heffalump Purple" with all kinds of Mickey stencils on it??? That will definantly have to be my paint chip color!!! :cool1:

Anywho...I guess I am going night night now!!!

Cathy - I hope you will join us at one of our meets! I guess the only official one is in Parrot Cay for lunch on embarkation day. Hope to see you there!

Season - Ok, I love your signature pictures!

I've never seen a tornado in person. Unless that is what you call two children who destroy your house in seconds. If that is the case, I've seen millions! :rotfl2:

Cathyscrapper- You are so kind to us. :)

Julie- We went to the Plaza tonight and ate at Houston's. MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM My favorite!

Getting ready for bed. My daughter is getting baptized tomorrow. Tonight she is at a sleepover where they usually stay up until 3 a.m. What happens if you fall asleep while getting dunked? I don't know the answer currently, but I may know it by 2 p.m. tomorrow.

Good night. Deanna

You made it all the way down to the Plaza? I am so jealous! Did you take the kids with you or was this an adults' night out? I don't think I have ever eaten at Houston's. Or have I? Now I can't remember! :teeth: Sounds like you had a fun time. Hope your daugher doesn't fall asleep being dunked!!

Julie and Dennis--Thanks bunches!!! I'm THRILLED to be planning the final strp in one of my life goals!!! I'm also extremely fortunate to have a second mom (DM2) who loves me enough to go with me! We're comparing prices before making a decision about going in 2006 or 2007. I'll keep ya updated...

Dennis---I think I've nixed the CC parasailing idea. Sorry.

Well folks, here it is "officially" Sunday morning CST... and I swear, the closer we get (even only on an hour-by-hour basis) the more pumped I am about the cruise! :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

Remember when I mentioned the possibility of getting some early packing done today? Well that didn't happen as expected (but Season did get in a good "yeah-right" type snicker out of the post), but I did get some trip prep work in anyway -- Mac and I went over to the in-laws' house and helped poppa-in-law assemble the luggage carrier for his van. Apparently, in addition to learning to color within the lines I also learned to read instructions... :rotfl2:

Other than that, it's been a great day... the 'big three' colleges here in-state won their games (Auburn, Alabama, UAB) -- and what's this? Notre Dame beat Michigan? GO IRISH! :cheer2:

Oh, and I have to brag on Season's photography here... if you go to the allears.net website, click on 'photo of the week' and then click on 'photo gallery' you might see something just a bit familiar... :scratchin

Good Morning, :sunny:

I flunked, last night I had to go to bed. I made it to 9:45PM and started falling asleep while watching the Disney Cruise DVD. I hear noise, it's Patrick. Patrick just gave me a kiss and quoted only a few more days til the Disney cruise. :goodvibes I just want to keep him this sweet. I just got a love you and a melty hug. Patrick loves the icons. Well it seems we have a full day here and it seems that Erin and Southernmouse are meeting up. Hope you both have a wonderful day.

Deanna, your tornados sound a bit safer. :teeth: Julie and Deanna, I don't think I could live in your neighborhood, I would never sleep at night. I hear those tornados strike at night too. Maybe that's why both of you post at early morning hours? ;)

I must go get my coffee now and get some cuddle time. I'll catch you all later on.

Kim what kind of MUG and what size is the DH buying me??? :rotfl:

Group hug :grouphug:

:wave2: Brother Servo, good morning. I just tried to go to the allears.net site and got bounced. Maybe it's that suspicious personality thing again.
Then I "Googled the term and found that it is actually http://allearsnet.com. Season Allen's photo
Great job, Season, that is a very impressive photo. Is that a time lapse effect with the fireworks?
Bill :wave2:

Deanna ~ Congratulations on your DD's Baptism!

Dave - Love the shirts either way I will take mine.

Party Elf - would you like the rotation for dinner changed I IM you.

DiDi - Hubby likes his coffee but won't be up until 8 or 9 will the shop still be open

:cheer2: :cheer2: I typed DH request to retire letter :cheer2: :cheer2: the military even if you have you time done you have to ask to be let out his twenty years are up on Sept 23 :cheer2: :cheer2: As Dora would say WE DID IT, WE DID IT. :cheer2: :cheer2: Okay I am a little excited.

Well today we are off to the cookout for family day.

Okay I have half the packing done, most of the shopping done, I confirmed my Meet & Greet with my drive (7am on a Saturday hope I didn't wake him up) but he did say he likes crazy people. I confirm the hotel, had them set up the transportation to the cruise ship, Set up baby sitter for fish, and mail pick up. Called Perfect Gift for basket for DD & DH. Am I missing anything??? I know you guys are good. Off to finish the packing.

Please remember to say a Prayer for all those lost in 9/11 & the United States of America. Thanks
Thanks, Dennis. I didn't notice that this is 9/11. We lost a cousin that day in one of the towers. He, Damien Meehan, was later found by his brothers, NYFD firemen, in a stairwell. It was some small comfort that they could say "dead" instead of "missing". Prayer is our greatest power. Thanks for the reminder.
