Hi all! Welcome to all our last minute newcomers! We're glad you joined.

No docs here, yet...

A special welcome to my fellow Birminghamians, Season and Eric  . I am from the other end of town (Alabaster). It is so neat to know that someone else from close by will be on the same cruise. I am hopeful to receive my documents soon now since you have already gotten yours.

Count me in on the door tag game. My room number is 2500 but I am still holding out hope for an upgrade for ErinC's crew and mine. Everytime I read about one on here, I check the Disney Cruise website to see if anything has changed. Oh well, a girl can dream can't she?? :goodvibes

Well, I'm off to clean house and get everything ready for our company cook-out tonight. I hope everyone has a great day!!

Hey Keri -

I didn't put it together but you are just down the hall from us...we're in 2526! We were on 2nd floor last year and loved it. Just a stumble, I mean walk, down one flight of steps from Diversions. :drinking1

Let's keep doin' the no Hurricane Dance. We were on this cruise last year for the same week and Hurricane Jeanne did us in big time. Just what are the odds that a hurricane would change our itinerary two years in a row?  :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :cool1: :bounce: :bounce: Don't answer that!!!

Still no docs here... :confused3

Marsha ~ Linking Seating ~ You need Reservation#, Last Name, #Seats ~ Call Debbie Wago. She will link all ther reservations to one MASTER #. That would make you the Earlies Master & Commander!!! You will need to be careful with this new found POWER & authority! That Latelies DW's have shown themselves to be a vibrant but somewhat unruly brood of wenches!!! :rotfl2: Oh - WHY do I do that to myself? :rotfl2:

Servo - Language Lesson
DH,DS,DD,DW-Disney Husband, Son, Daughter,Wife, etc
Earlies & Latelies - Early & Late Seating
Uppities & Lowlies - Upper & Lower Deck Cabins (Relatively speaking)
Watch out for SmilingMouse, she is very literate in Advanced Disney Speak

Okay, I forgot, whoever is in charge of Cabin Tag Game, include Chrystina  BUT maybe I won't tell her :rolleyes1 especially since I have no idea what the rules are :confused3 Oh well

Okay - Who is Christine?

David - How are the shirts coming? Did it work out okay? Just curious...

Bill - Been awfully quiet ... Did DIDI withdraw PC privileges?

DIDI - Be NICE to Bill ... :love2:

Julie - I had my cat Socrates do the DOC Diddy with me ... He danced on the table :cool1: All my documents appear to be "in order", so once I get to MCO, I am leaving it ALL up to Disney after that...

Okay Matey's - Got to go get some morning exercise ... BUT before I go ...

. . . Of course, if bpicard's DH can wear that outfit, I think that Deanna & Julie have just found a male model for their Fall Fashion line. :rolleyes1

Welcome to all newbies

Hello to all the earlies, I would be happy to link the reservation. You can either send me a private message or email me at marsha02909@yahoo.com with your:

Reservation #
Room #
and Last name.

Then we can have a dinner group too. Anyone know what rotation we want to request? I know some have a prefence I am new to the cruise thing so I am not sure.

And the time isn't going fast enough, but I am not ready either, women figure never happy. :confused3 :confused3

bpicard - Love the pictures! You have a beautiful family! My room number is 6043, I guess I have never written it on here, maybe I was hoping it would change for the better! :teeth:

Deanna - Did you catch anything on the trot line? p.s. skiing makes me

Dennis - Christine is Partyelf, a newbie! And maybe you should take some dancing lessons from Socrates so you wil be ready to boogie at the Pub Crawl!! Woo-Hoo! Oh, I ended up not physically doing the doc dance because I twisted my ankle running to the door when the UPS man rang the doorbell. Yep, it's a bit embarassing, but 100% true.

Lem - I think you looked great!

Dennis- Congrats on the doc diddy dance! Did you break dance on the kitchen table? :dancer:

Didi- I can't imagine catching the train for work. We just don't have that in Kansas. It sounds so different than our part of the world. I hope your coffee was tasty! Even if it wasn't tasty I'm sure you would've still enjoyed it!

For you past cruisers, does the internet place on the ship stay open 24 hours? If not, does anyone know the hours on Friday night? Since I am flying Southwest, I would like to get on at 12:01 a.m. and get my boarding pass for Saturday. But I'm not sure they stay open that late. Anyone know the answer? If not, I'll have to resort to the big boys at the main board. :confused3 If it does stay open that late, I know I won't be seeing Didi in there! She'll be snoring!

Have a great morning. I must go and catch my 7:10 a.m. SUV!

Deanna :wave2:

Deanna,

I'm 99% pos. that the internet is available 24 hrs/day. Several other Disers have ben able to print boarding passes at 12:01 am. I've never used internet onboard, sorry

Dennis: Thank you :wizard: Still no docs here, but I am doing the 2 weeks to WDW dance with you :cool1:

Can anyone suggest a good book for the cruise? I usually read thrillers/mysteries? TIA!

Smilingmouse - Have you read "My Sister's Keeper"? It's mysterious. It's not a thriller, but it's the best I can come up with! :goodvibes

Julie,

No I haven't read it, but I'll put it on my list!

Thanks!

Hi All, :wave2:

I'm getting a little nutty :Pinkbounc as the trip approaches. Here is a picture of something Didi  does very well. :cheer2: She can make a garden turn into an enchanted world. :wizard:

Bill :earsboy:

I haven't posted enough to be allowed to put up a picture, :badpc: so I'll place it on Didi's next post.

Lem is obviously very secure in his masculinity! It's amazing what daddy's little girls can get daddy's to do!

Great pic. I'm sure it will be on the powerpoint at her wedding! :bride:

Need to run, check in later. Praying that that UPS man is close by!

:wave2: Hi Folks,

Didi  has earned more points than me and can post the pictures on her ID. Here is a small segment of her great work with flowers. :cheer2:

We were on PLA rotation last year which I really liked because you're in Animator's Palate for both the formal and semi-formal nights. Makes for a really nice evening. That would be my vote. I'll send our ressie and room #s to you via email. Thanks Marcia!
Jamie

Email from my TA...she has our docs and will send them via Fed Ex either tomorrow or Monday. By next Tuesday I should have those papers in my grubby little hands!!!! Woo-HOOOOOOOOOOO

Hi Again Gang... gosh it's hard keeping track of all the conversations. You guys are such pros!

I was outa commission the last two days sick as a dog. Hopefully tomorrow I'll be all better - got a Elton John concert to go to!

Marsha I'll forward you my info via e-mail. As far as rotation, I've read that folks w/ little ones usually are assigned Animator's Palate first. When I worked out the details it doesn't have you missing any of the themed nights if you eliminate Parrot Cay for dinner (on Sun night) and replace it with Palo. Just a thought.

I've been reading Passporter's Guide to DCL and was planning on eating in Parrot Cay on Sat anyway - so YES, I'd love to meet up with you folks. Exactly how will we know each other?? Does everyone have some Disney themed shirt we could all wear or is that to 'normal' to pick out of a crowd of Disney lovers?!

CujoBugs (your name escapes me now) - Tell Lori we're on! We'll meet at Parrot Cay!

I'm 39 (the big 4 -0 is around the corner) and I have 2 DS ages 5 & 7. The PartyElf name is from my business - The Party Elf. Sort of as it implies... I help people with their parties. Like what a caterer does but without the food. I started off with an idea and it's grown to the point I now have 6 people who work with me! It's fun, it's good money and it's part time so I can be there for my kids!

Let's talk more about hooking up at Parrot Cay. I plan on heading there right after I board and my plane doesn't get in till 10ish so I won't be in port till after 12PM. Who knows how long it'll take to embark?!

Excellent! That should sit well with Mac, our 2-year-old DS (btw, thanks for the lesson Alaska). Heck with Mac, it'd sit well with me too! pirate:

Let's put it this way... Season once had her cell phone's ringtone set to Winnie-The-Pooh during a WDW trip. We missed several calls because the ringtone blended in with the environment.

Fortunately that shouldn't happen anymore with her Ozzy "Crazy Train" and my Star Wars "Imperial March" ringtones.

Man... can NOT wait to get on the big boat... :boat:

Hi All,

Just a quick "Hello"

Dennis: I thought the 'D' in DW, DS, etc.. was for Dearest? I suppose Disney works just fine too! :teeth:

Shirts: I haven't gotten the final proof emailed yet, but we should be all set. I couldn't get the full color images on the shirts. I'll post a copy of the proof once I get it.

Doc Question: There is a Bahamian imigration form in the packet. (I think this is because the ship is registered in the Bahama's?) My question is, what do you put on the form on how you are arriving? The form looks like it's meant for island use. How do I say I'm getting dropped off?

Has anybody else started filling out the paperwork yet? I'm about half way through.

Back to work!

David

David - what is this about shirts and proofs? I a newbie so I musta missed something?!

Fill me in!!

Christine

P.S. Doin the dance!! Doin the dance! Doin the DOC dance! WooHoo!!! :cool1: :cheer2: :bounce: :dancer: :jumping2: :thewave:

What excursions is everyone doing? I have been looking at all of them today while I am answering the "Psychic Hot Line" phone here at work! You know some people are completely nutts!!!

I really want to do the dolphin excursion in Cozumel but Mac is not 3 yet and I called Disney and they said they don't make exceptions on this one since there are animals involved. Oh well... next time on that one I guess!!!
