It's our first ever cruise and we'll be flying in from New Zealand specially for a Disney themed holiday. Our kids will be nearly five (twin boys) and it's a big treat for us all. We're going to do Disneyland, Legoland etc etc the week after the cruise. Everyone's really excited and it'll be my first visit to Disneyland since 1988!
. I've never seen anything like it in 40+ years of living in the Wellington region of NZ. I gather most people in the USA are roasty warm at the moment too.I can't wait for San Diego - I could honestly do three weeks there and not repeat anything and still miss stuff. You are right about there being a lot to do in San Diego... a whole week there would be wonderful. Perfect weather. Not like AZ where it was 111 degrees today. I love CA but personally I would never live there. I like to visit and come home.
My husband went out on his 15km morning run, despite advice from me not to go, fell on black ice and broke his arm. I guess it's a bit like it snowing in San Diego for rareness, but him being from Northern England should know all about black ice. Now he's got a purple cast on for the next month as he let the boys pick the colour.

Yay we booked our airline tickets today - our national carrier was offering 30% off so we jumped at it. Even flying out of our wee local airport on a teeny plane to get up to Auckland as our national carrier started flying from Paraparaumu today. So happy today!!!![]()
It always make it feel so real when you buy the airline tickets.
Are you with us on this cruise?
I just switched a Dream 4 night for this cruise - it is a surprise for DH's birthday (and an excuse to book, not that I need much of one). Hopefully he doesn't snoop on the DIS or he will figure it out.
My name is Gail and DH is David - we have 3 DS - 2 are married and the last one is in college and will be getting married right before this trip. It will be #14 for us - actually just got off the Magic last Saturday. Why am I DISing - I still have a suitcase to unpack. Oh well, it isn't going anywhere and neither am I - for a few weeks anyway.
Can't wait to get to know everyone as this trip gets closer.
