Sept. 2015 Magic Kingdom Park Hours 9pm close!

Not sure if I am losing it, but we have gone the past 3 years the first 2 weeks in September.. I have taken a look at the offical September Park hours ( would link it, but dont know how) and notice that MK has mainly 9pm Close except Sat. ?!

Wasnt MK usually a 10pm Close... What is going on. We were late crowd People..

Disney has added hours and events to the early-posted calendar every single month for years.

Expect the MK's Sept. hours to be extended on some (if not most) evenings.
That info would show up on the calendars within 15-60 days before the actual dates.

Just keep re-checking.

Ok I will, maybe I never checked this early before I would be surprised too, seeing it gets more crowder this time each year..

Agreed - I think the online hours are just space-holders when you look at them far in advance. I was looking ahead for our spring break trip 2 months ago and jotted down the open times and Extra Magic Hrs times. Now that we are a month away, the times have been adjusted/extended for many days.

Also, DHS closing at 7:30/8pm?! I hope those hours get extended too

On one of our nights last Sept, MK was scheduled to close at 9pm with MSEP at 8 and Wishes at 9. When we got back to the park that evening around 5-6pm, they were announcing that the park was staying open until 10pm. The parade and Wishes still went on at 8 and 9 respectively, but then the park stayed open for another hour afterwards. It was a really fun surprise; we were able to ride Haunted Mansion and get a Dole whip, two things we'd wanted to do earlier but ran out of time. I don't know how far in advance they made that decision, but I didn't notice it on MDE prior so we didn't know until we heard the announcements in the park.

Yes, day-of extension of MK hours is not uncommon.

Yep, same thing happened to us once. The printed Times Guide, website, Hours board in resort lobby, etc. all listed a 9pm MK closing. We arrived around 6pm to discover the closing had been pushed back to 10pm. Woo hoo!! An extra "free" hour!!

We've gone in later Sept the last 4 trips, and MK was typically 9pm close, with a sprinkle of 10pm and 11pm closings thrown in.

HS is typically 8pm. I was shocked to see it even earlier at 7:30 this year. Hope that changes.

Epcot has been very steady at 9pm.

Animal Kingdom bumps around between 5pm and 6pm, but seems to be more 5pm close than 6pm if I recall.
