9/25-10/3 CSR 25th anniversary trip!

We celebrated our 25th anniversary at CSR. Love that resort.

We will be at WDW from 9/22-9/27. Belated birthday present for my son (he has an Aug bday). We will be staying at Port Orleans, Riverside. So excited!

Since I finally added a ticker for our September trip I thought I might join this thread, too! We will be at the YC from Sept 24th to 28th - arriving just two days after my DH's birthday. I'm very excited to experience Food & Wine for the first time, but am worried about the heat and rain. In spite of the worries about the weather, I can't wait.

I'm very excited to experience Food & Wine for the first time, but am worried about the heat and rain. In spite of the worries about the weather, I can't wait.

We have gone in September at this time five of our last seven trips. During each of those trips, we had a couple of days with a few sprinkles and one day of an all afternoon rain. It really wasn't all that bad. As for the heat, just keep hydrated....drink lots of water (we put a wet wash cloth on our neck and it truly helps). This will be our first time for F&W...it always started the day after we left.

We arrive late on the 23rd so the only MNSSHP party during our trip is on a Friday (sept 26). I would love to go, but am a little concerned that it will be packed because it is on a Friday. We would mainly be interested in rides, parade, and fireworks. We would like to see the characters but I don't foresee us waiting for M&G or doing much trick-or-treating. Given these parameters do you think it will still give us some lower wait times for attractions? Or am I completely misguided in thinking we will be waltzing around MK with a handful of people ;-) LOL

Unfortunately, we have become very disenchanted with the parties. We find that they OVERSELL them and there are crowds every where...character meets and greets, attractions, food, etc. That being said, since we are meeting my first ever "DIS" friend on our trip coming up, we will probably do the Halloween Party with him and his family. Otherwise, we've done the Halloween and Christmas parties both twice and probably won't do them again.
