Hope all those samples aren't in one day. You may be catching up to me:scared1:
Finally going to Dr today, hope he can figure out what the deal is:confused: :scared:
miss you

Diva K, do you have any idea of how few folks would know "Sleep tight"? Not surprised you do though. I am the practical one here, hubby would gladly live at DW but then he does already. The only things he really likes is eating and he does that here too. Does not have to deal with the crowds either. :confused3

Minnie, I am going to answer your email in a bit. Just trying to get some other things done before I get to do the fun stuff.

Timmie, I hope the day brings you many happy memories of your dad.

Bonz, please let us know what the doctor says. We have far too much sickness around this place and we need to get all fixed up so we can go again next year and be in fine fettle. :cheer2:

SG, no rush to answer that email - I know where to find you. ;)

(took me three months to answer one from you...thought I had, then found it in a folder) :guilty:

Minnie, you know where to find me? :scared1: :lmao:

Diva Kristin, I was referring to the 'meaning' of sleep tight. It has to do with the old rope beds. They needed to be tightened up from time or time or they sagged, sort of like me. :rotfl: Okay, what is the second line of this oft repeated saying? "Curiosity killed the cat" -------.

I am done working on the books for the month. I hate doing that, especially these days. :teacher:

Have to sort through some books to take to the CC. The older kids were complaining about not enough books for them. I am slowly giving away all my grandkid items to the kids at the CC. It is a bittersweet. I enjoy seeing the kids enjoy the items but it hurts a bit that no one in my family is at all interested in anything from this side of the family. I am very sentimental. A sap, I are.

I get to touch, and read, the Federalist Papers this evening, also the first copy of "Atlas Shrugged' along with many other volumes. Nobody but us nerds will be there. More books for ME!!!!:cheer2:

Knew about rope beds but I was referring to tucking the bed covers in tight to keep the bed bugs out! ;)

I have the same problem...I can't part with favorite stories of my DS and I...typically I pass the paperbacks on to others and save the hardbacks for next generation...books are meant to be read, not sit on a shelf....:coffee:

 Thanks Diva K... it was a slow day yesterday.... well I made it slow... blocked everything in my mind... well today is a new day and they're baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaack... so might as well deal with reality then :lmao:

it was a bit odd since my dad was the only one I did not see when he passed... which is a good thing according to some since it means he crossed... that he is does not have any unfinish business ... I hope so too... But the funny part was the day before... without even planning the book shelves.. was just there looking and what do I find... a picture of my dad when I 1st move in here in my place in '99 and it was not the worried.. sad look/picture... it just reminded me how much he do want to stick around... and make sure me and my mom is always OK look... so it was all good... :grouphug:

yeah Bonz... we need to be perfect next time we see each other again... I think my days are done partying with strangers.. and this time I will make sure I will bring my own bottle and have a nice chat with you... I might even share!!!! And we have to make sure we get Angela those orange popsicle drink that she has been mumbling about!:dance3:

:grouphug: Timmy & bonz :grouphug:

I am going to be ther e in December the same time as mousefest but after a dark cloud passed by yesterday... I closed my planning book and cancel all meet with new disers  I am only meeting the Peeps from Pa and that's it.

And thinking of F&W ... last year the part of the Tribe made it to a Feast.... not realizing that we were headed to disaster... and a year later... I am now but a Unit... and for the 1st time did not go celebrate the Festival of senses.

Also today is my dad's 100 days of passing ... so I am a bit :confused3 on the feeling mode...

They were soooo good! Timmy, I wish you coulda come Sat night. I told you I'm going Dec 18 to 23rd, right? What are your dates?!

JanJan,
WB! Glad you had a great trip and are back safely. So what BB dates did you choose for next year? I looked over the F&W menus since we will be there for it next year and the things you mentioned sounded good to me too. Lobster and cheese. YUM!!!

Can I hide in your luggage. I so want to go the same time you picked but there is no way. I signed up for airfare watchdog and found some 83 pp one way tix out of Ohare on both American and United. I just like to torture myself knowing the airfair can be had for less than I paid for August or September. lol

I hope the muscle relaxers and anti inflammatories help. I hope they help you relax and sleep.

I am off to the dentist for appointment 2 of 4 in my root canal. Why he can't just do it and get it over with I have no clue except that the dentist either loves to torture me or he loves my company. :scared1:

Diva K, no matter how tight you tuck someone in those darned bedbugs will get you. They did wear nightcaps to keep the mice and other larger varmints from rummaging though. Makes one glad that we live nowadays let me tell ya! Curiosity killed the cat BUT satisfaction brought him back! Nothing is quite as sad as a pristine book. Means it has never been read. Even my youngest grandson who used to be such a reader has turned away now. His daddy worships sports.

Timmie, please do not give up on strangers. Strangers are often just friends you have not met yet. You just need to slow down and be a bit more picky. Learn more about someone before you invest your heart and soul into them. I know, I learned this late in life myself. :dance3:

Ang, you should charge your dentist an entertainment fee. Might equal his dentistry fee even! I hope you do not have a tough time of it.

Bonz, what are you taking those meds for? I get confused. I hope they help.

cherylp3, hooray on your wonderful trip! I know from ECV;s. I have avoided one so far but the tipping point would be if I slowed others down. What I might not do for myself I will do for others. Maybe that will make the difference?

I bought hydraulic cement to patch the foundation and some burgundy paint for the garage door and the two back porch doors as well as some new door insulation. Winter is coming!

 It is like weeding for me MS. linda... you look at the ground... you want to grow a nice carpet of grass.. weeds grow... then flowers grow.. and it looks prety... and then eventually some other type of weed grow.. with thorns... and you still think its pretty... then one morning you want to have a picnic at that nice carpet of green grass.. you have your picnic blanket... you sit and OUCH the other weeds that have thorns got you and then eventually you have this little prick... it bled for a bit... and then you grab that weed wacker... wack !!! and then it rained... the next day the sun is out again... a nice day for another picnic... and you just have that picnic again... no more weeds though...

So in all this... if you want a nice lawn.. you have sto spend time and money... and a Good Weed Wacker :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Nicole aka FF... where are you ???? What are you upto ???

Ok... time to get ready for work.. this weekend is my ugly weekend... it is the 32 hour shift weekend....

Have a Good weekend and double the fun for me !

My son loves sports as well...every week last year, he would bring home biographies of famous athletes home from the school library...at least he was reading...this year he is actually willingly reading the classics! :cloud9:

Thats the one thing about living in Texas...if you can used to the heat (its October and still in the 90s :sunny:) you don't have to worry about that pesky snow (which I love to look at but not shovel!) and cold (don't need to worry about pipes freezing here! )
