SEPT 2009 code watch

Suscribing :thumbsup2 Also Suscribed on the August 2009 Code Watch as well

Our Wedding is August 31, 2009. We have the Wedding Guest discount but I'm looking to see if I can get something better. Dates are August 28-Sept 3. We are doing 2 nights at All Star Movies and then 4 nights at Poly in the Honeymoon Suite, followed by a 3 night Cruise.

Trying to save all the money I can!:wave2:

I wasn't able to sort through 48 pages, but can someone tell me if any codes were announced yet?

Thank you!:flower3:

Wwlcome to the code watch and Congratulations on your marriage. So far we have not had any codes posted other than the lucky ones who got PIN's . I added you to the list on page 1.

Walking in the fog,
You seem to really be on top of this number crunching. So, I thought I'd ask for your opinion. DH and I will be staying at a Value Resort from Sept 17 to Oct 1st. Not sure if Free Dining or 40% Rm Discount would be better for us. Any thoughts?

You have been added to the list:cool1:

Walking in the fog:

What did you hear about Feb. 5th?

Thanks!

LSUTIGGERGIRL

I read on a post here somewhere! But I've searched to try to find it again, but can't..:badpc: :badpc:.... someone had written about calling in, and the CM alluding to the fact that something else was being released and to expect it before the end of first week of Feb.........
I really apologise for passing on an unsubstantiated (sp?) a rumor, but dang, I know I read it on the forum!
If anyone else is aware of what board was it in, pls put me out of my misery!

Thanks!

I just got an email from disney for a contest to win a trip, I wonder if that's what the CM was talking about

What do you dream of celebrating - a special anniversary, a once-in-a-lifetime achievement, a first trip to the Disney Parks for your child? Whatever the occasion, this could be your year! The Magical Celebrations sweepstakes is your chance to win one of five magical Disney vacations specially designed to celebrate your family's milestone.

The winner will work with a personal itinerary planner to help arrange vacation celebration activities, including:

* Limo transportation to and from the airport
* Special guided tour at either Walt Disney World® or Disneyland® Resort
* Disney's PhotoPass PhotoBook and PhotoCD
* $200 Disney Gift Card
* And more!

Enter every day in February at Disney.com/Celebrate. In addition to being entered into the vacation sweepstakes, you'll instantly win a different new digital prize every day.

And that's not all - you can enter daily by texting MAGIC to DISNEY (347639). Standard carrier fees apply. You can also get an additional entry by sharing a celebration story in the Disney Family.com Community. So don't wait - enter now for your chance to win the trip of a lifetime.

Good luck!
Your friends at Disney.com

Can I be added too, we are doing a split stay at CSR & POFQ from Sept 25th-Oct 3rd 2009? Do codes work if you do a split stay or do you have to be booked at one Resort?

I got that email twice in one day LOL Too bad the contest isn't open to Canadians :sad2:

I agree! I was so bummed when I found that out. I wish that they could somehow filter out those with Canadian addresses so we don't get advertisements for promotions that we are not eligible to win.

My husband and I will be taking our kids back (BB) for our 2nd trip with FD this September, but we want to upgrade our hotel and cannot do that until another FD code comes out ( hopefully)! Can you add us to your list? thank you! Michelle

Hi

Can you add me plz. We will be going 9/24-9/30. Celebrating my birthday...woohoo can't wait!

I am not sure if you all listen to the Dis Podcast but they are selling tshirts for 24.99 %100 of the money goes to Give Kids the World Village in Fla, This is a very wonderful place, there is a link to it at the top of the page or the podcast page has info about it. I thought that all of us Sept people could help them give a nice donation.:goodvibes http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2039120

join me in on the wait for a Sept Discount....

I actually received a code in the mail early January and it didnt work out to my benefit... weird.... I called today and got a price of $1391.00 w/ a code (5 days, 4nights @ CBR, 4 day base ticket + dining)the girl told me was 40% off... when I went online to check the price off thier website it was only a $9.00 difference... (same days, same dining & the girl quoted me 4 day base tickets and the computer was 5 day base tickets)... i dont know y; so I called up to find out why and she said she didnt know... I am so upset over this but I know what will be will be. I cancelled the reservation because to me it doesnt make sense to pay more for something that is supposed to be cheaper!! When I checked the prices for the value's the price was cheaper online then the girl gave me over the phone! :headache:

So now my quest is to join my other fellow dis'ers in hopes for a code that actually saves me money! :yay:

Hi
Not sure if I am aloud to say this, I booked my trip through Dreams Unlimited. Their price came out cheaper than calling Disney's line. You have to send them your PIN code and the 40% off was only for the room. I am talking from personal experience, so please don't quote me. I did save about $200 by calling DU.

Any authorized Disney travel agency can only quote you the same price you could get by booking directly with Disney, with or without any codes you may have. We use the world's best authorized Disney travel agency because she can immediately try to apply any codes/discounts to my reservation, book any ADRs, help out with questions, etc.

You don't save money by using an authorized Disney TA vs booking directly with Disney, but it sure cuts down on the stress of planning a Disney vacation, not to mention the TA taking away the stress of watching for discount codes, etc.! :thumbsup2
