Sept 2007 My Affair w/Mickey -- Complete!

Thanks everyone for the many kind words, personal stories and hugs...it's comforting in a weird way to know that I am not the only one who has gone through and survived, esp to have more healthy, blessed children!

I feel sort of Schizo right now...one minute wanting to curl up in a ball and the next minute taking my DD trick or treating and the next minute wondering what he would have looked like and the next minute writing a trip report on Disney...guess it's partly the hormones and partly, just the way the body copes with sadness.

Next step is an OB Sono on Monday where hopefully we'll confirm condition of pregnancy and no longer be in limbo.

At least none of the morning sickness has kicked in yet! That's something to be thankful for!

Hi Marshay, Just a quick hello to let you know I'm thinking of you and you are still in my prayers. After Monday you will know everything you need to know and you can start living life and getting on with things as best you can. It will get easier, you won't forget, but you'll learn to cope and be happy!

Although I'm not a "regular" (yet!), I just wanted to also offer my sincere condolences on the loss of your baby. We lost twins in utero 7 years ago and it does seem to get easier in time to think about...

thanks guys! I just hope to get some answers...then we know what we're dealing with and can make decisions.

After my doc visit I'm meeting up with some moms and going to Pumpkinville (an animal park that has a fall festival -- slides, moonbounces, etc). I figured it would be good for me to get out and have some fun with DD and my friends tomorrow, instead of just staying inside.

I'll post an update Mon or Tues -- only 3 more days left from our trip -- and then it's officially over! but then I can start planning our next trip!

Personal Update:

Doctor could not find anything in the womb, so he assumes it is in the fallopian tube (couldn't see anything in the tube, either)...since it is a "bad pregnancy", he said it had to be terminated. So I had the 2 injections this morning to stop the pregnancy...will take anywhere from a week to over a month for my body to reject the baby. I go back for blood tests yet again to make sure my HCG count goes back down over the next week or so. We have to wait minimum 2 cycles before we start any more fertility treatments.

Soooo, at least we know the plan now.

OK, I got to put DD down for a nap and then call WDW to make my dining reservations for May -- at least that will be fun to do!

ToT is one of my favorite rides but I admit it isn't for the faint of heart -- it's not that it's really wild, they just build it up so much that if a balloon popped while you were in the car, people would scream and jump!

No worries -- and I got to read some of your TR...I still mean to get over there and read from the beginning...it's just been a bit weird here in RL lately.

Today is Sunday, Sept 23rd and our last day at BCV...we transfer over to AKV for 2 days.

Chapter 11a -- Playin' in the Water and AKV

We sadly check out of BCV and walk over to Epcot. Rachel likes the Mexico boat ride and enjoys playing in the fountain inside the pyramid at Mexico.

Once we get outside again, it's raining so we stay inside Mexico but the rain is short-lived and we head over to The Land, ride the boat ride, which DD loves and get some salmon for lunch. Then it's off to do Nemo again.

Finally get to Journey into Your Imagination...but DD is falling asleep, so we let her rest on the ride.

One of our traditions is to take a photo of our family in front of this water fountain.

Then we head over to play in the water fountains...and DD spies Figment..there is no line, so we get some photos

DD wants to introduce Figment to her Hershey's Teddy Bear, which we named "Peanut Butter Cub".

DD and I play in the fountain -- trying not to get too wet

DD loves the water and tries to splash it on us

And then finally our DD starts warming up to our FL friends -- here is a great picture of DD right after she got nailed on the side of her head with the water
