Note to self: Make sure self-directed workshop on "How to Brown Nose Effectively" is listed in Navigator; 5-day program starting at 3:00 p.m. daily in Promenade Lounge (or any available bar).

RosieP will you add us please?
fourM's-Mindy traveling with husband Matt

TIA!

not a problem here...both mom and I are on allergic to chocolate

Greetings all. A few things for those on this board.

Please add us to "the list:" JohnGar being John, traveling with his DW, Laura (not a DisBoards member, yet). We will be celebrating our 11th anniversary  on the Friday of this cruise and will be staying on for the Sept. 25 Mexican Riviera cruise since five days to short on a Disney cruise.

Also please add us to the FE list. We are in room 6500 for both cruises.

And finally, has anyone ever done the 1-day Seattle to Vancouver cruise? We have booked this cruise to get us from Seattle to Vancouver (cheaper than a rental car, hotel room, food and gas combined) and want to know: What side of the ship would have the better view as we have a veranda cabin? :confused3

Thanks in advance and look forward to meeting everybody.

I am known to be partial to the "Drink O Day" especially if it is a two for one deal!!! :lmao:

As for naps, I have been known to lapse into one of those quite frequently. It is tough being a grandmother (Omi)

We've been married 11 years this month. That's not so long ago...

I just read on another thread that the coffee served on the ship is all Nescafe. Instant coffee? INSTANT COFFEE??!!!! I'm going to be real grumpy by the time we dock in LA. After twenty years in the US Navy I don't drink no stinkin' instant coffee...

the coffee at the Cove is good~maybe this trip i can take my mini Keurig (since i'm not flying anywhere).....

Hey everyone,

I have been getting quite a few requests from other cruise groups wanting me to send them our cruise logo to modify for their dates to use in their groups.

My response has always been to politely decline as I have made it for our group specifically and I don't really want to have dozens of groups with the same style logo floating around.

I just wanted to mention it in case any of you get the same requests. Please decline as it is our personal logo.
Thanks

on that note....has anyone researched doing a group shirt order or is it easier to do our own?

well that's doable!!!

Question to those who have done Amtrak before....can we take UNOpened bottles of liquor on the train with us? or we will need to purchase our alcohol in Vancouver?

John and I traveled by Amtrak a couple of years ago, and transported 2 bottles of Tequila to a friend in Oregon without any problem. We don't drink alcohol so they were never opened.

Can't seem to find a good price on just one sweatshirt down here...

Hi John. I have been talking with Laura on MP. I am still hoping to meet you two before the cruise, but am starting to think it may not happen (unless we get together in early Sept)

All righty then...everything is updated.

Amy (aka Aja)....I'll take all those bed pillow chocolates right now! Only thinking of your health of course....;)

What's your room number? If you bring your Keurig, you'll have a regular guest for morning coffee... Me! That's what I use at home and I love it.

Alright!! Party in Brenda's room!! :cool1::cool1: Of course that's after room service has brought me some coffee so I can get to the coffee

Rosie..have to think about that. Hummmm…guess I should stop giving them to my family and friends as souvenirs that I bought for them at a Disney destinations…..

The coffee is Nescafe BRAND, not necessarily instant coffee. It's the same stuff Disney serves in the parks so if you've ever had a cup of coffee from Blue Ribbon Bakery at Disneyland that's what you will get on the ship.

From what I understand most of the coffee comes in a bag-in-a-box, similar to soda, since it will last longer in storage than ground coffee and is easier to mass produce.

I can probably tolerate it. All it has to do is get my heart started in the morning... ;)
