Sept 19th,2004 revisited.....

My BFF and I were looking at Coach bags on ebay and there was one of the pink baby bags. It was selling for over $900. I thought that was way too high, so I looked at the bidders list. It was all bidders that have 1 or 0 on their feedback. It was so obvious that the seller was bumping up her price. That is what really ticks me off about ebay, all sellers should start their price at the lowest that they are willing to sell it for.

T, good luck with all the ebaying. I am soooo addicted to it. :teeth:

I know, there are some quesitonable Ebayers (buyers and sellers).

Yes there are!!! I actually got a seller booted out last year because of shill bidding (when seller & bidder are the same person using different names) on a dress set (dress, purse, gloves, hairbow) that I bought for Krystina. Silly woman got caught because she had too much info on her "about me" page that linked the 2 together! :rotfl2: Oh well, didn't feel bad because she should have known better. I personally would have felt better if I had gotten some of my $$$ back!! :teeth:

Yes, eBay is VERY ADDICTING!! Just ask my bank account!!! ;)

If I don't post to ya'll again today, have a GREAT weekend everyone!!!!

TGIF!! :cool1:

I am freaking out :earseek:! My eyes hurt! I'm sick of typing! I've been working on the pictures (getting them on a host site) and then getting some Please tell me what I've done wrong or right b/c at this point, I don't know any more, and really won't care until tomorrow. Augh! I put all the photos on photobucket and find out Ebay went to my computer directory directly instead. AAAAaaahhhh!

T: did you list directly thru ebay or did you use TurboLister? Either way there should be an option to change your pictures to a different hosting site. I use TurboLister & put my pictures directly into the description with the link from photobucket and that way I can post all the photos I want & won't be charged for using additional photos. I only checked out the one listing you linked us too, but it looks good! :thumbsup2 I like your disclaimers and the "we were all new at one time" line. Hope it works out for ya!

Shoot, you posted already! How should I word, please e-mail me prior to leaving negative feedback. I wan to resolve blah blah blah. Any suggestions on that? I'll definately check on your hosting suggestion tomorrow. I've spent way too much time listing for 7 items. :earseek:

T, you might want to add that there will be a 5 day waiting period for money orders and cashiers checks to clear your account. I have seen too many really good looking fake MO and CC in the past few months.

Thanks! I'll be adding that right NOW!!!!! Got it done, thanks! We'll see see what happens! :thumbsup2

My dh, suggested I list only a couple items for now so that I can build up my positive feedback. I'm anxious to list Cameron's DCL shirt. I might go ahead and do that tomorrow.

My addiction focus will be shifting as I will have to keep tabs on my Ebay items. I haven't worked out in quite a while, I'm really behind. So, I will be lurking for sure and posting when I can.

Hi DZNE princess: !

This DIS keeps re arranging the smilies!

I, personally, prefer paypal, but will also accept ONLY US Postal Money Orders and that way I can cash them at the post office right before I ship the item out. Seems to work for me so far.

Side question: was that Denise Austin dvd you have listed hard to follow? I receive her newsletter and she always has good advice but I'm looking for something by way of exercise :yay: that is not too "advanced" or hard to keep up with.

I thought about Paypal and MO's only, but I would have to change all my listings again! Maybe in the next round of listings I'll do that. I feel like there are more disclaimers and warnings than there is/ are??? of a description.

Your side note- I just couldn't follow her instructions. I'm no expert and am not familiar w/her. Watching the dvd, the gals behind her had a hard time shaddowing her every move too. I did get a good work out out of it, but I was frustrated by the end. With her C'mon keep moving. Your are improving your body....I'd retort back and say, Ya I would if you'd do the same steps a little longer! Sorry to venting about what I'm supposed to be selling. I do have the take off the last 10lbs. kickboxing dvd of hers and love it. Go figure.

I did lower the price. :teeth:

What can I say I couldn't sleep in this morning! :teeth: T, How's the ebay business going?

I've got watchers already. Yeah! I lowered the price on the bunny outfit and the dvd and BAM the watches' came up. I found the turbo listing that Leonor posted about. I'm going to do it, b/c I think I can put future lists on hold until I'm ready to list them. I'm a little obsessive about this Ebay thing right now. Thanks for your idea about waiting for the funds to clear on the M.O.s and CC's. It took some creative rewording in the pyment. section, you only get so many characters and spaces.

I saw the Princess Bride on VH2. It was a good movie to watch on a yucky day.

Have a great day all!

Thank goodness it's Tuesday. Yesterday was such a Monday  . I plan on doing very little today. It's an all me day! I even told DH to take my car to work that way I couldn't go any where. I need to relax. How do I do that again?!?!?!? :teeth:

PS Good morning all!!!

 I seem to be in a good mood today. I got my butt out of bed @ 6am to do the Denise Austin :yay: workouts on Lifetime TV. :thumbsup2 Now all I have to do is stay motivated to do it again tomorrow (and the day after that, and the day after that, etc). I'm not so much focused on losing weight as I am on feeling better about myself and getting into shape, although I weigh the most I've ever weighed (except when I was pregnant with my princess: ). I'm 5'4" and weigh 144lbs. I can still fit into some 6's but am more comfortable in 8's. Doesn't help that I am hypothyroid and now taking a low dose antianxiety/  antidepressant which has led me to gain about 5 lbs in the last few months :sad2: . I mainly want to slim my tummy and firm up my arms. I'm trying to drink LOTS of water and sometimes prefer to drink green tea sweetened with Splenda. Not really changing my eating too much, but I am more focused on eating lots of fiber. Have ya'll tried the Nature's Own Double Fiber wheat bread? I LOVE IT and each slice has 5 grams of fiber :woohoo: !!

Well, just thought I'd share a little about what's going on with me (hope I didn't bore ya too much!!). HAVE a WONDERful day everyone!!!!

Do you have a Kroger around you? I can drink the Kroger brand Green tea w/o any sugar or milk. Keep up your momentum. You 'll want to exercise tomorrow to get the aches and pains out from the day before. :yay:

Ohh, fiber bread, I'll look for it. I need more fiber.
