Sept 19th,2004 revisited.....

Well, my TA made a major mistake (over a thousand dollars!) and we are no longer able to go on our RCCL cruise in June. She screwed everything up so we had to cancel the whole trip. We are now going to take a 6 day to the Western Caribbean on December 18th on the Explorer of the Seas and a 4 day later on. Oh well! I get to cruise sooner. Thats the good part and save $1500.00 in the process.

What in the world did she do?? SOunds to me like it is time to get a new TA.....I know of a great one! DANA DANA DANA! LOL Seems to me, if she is the one who made the mistake she should honor the price??

D: I'm not very good at giving directions/instructions but I can follow them very well! All of the info you need is on page 1 of the sparkly thread for making signatures (names). I believe the info for the images is on about page 12 (right after a post from me). It really is not hard at all. But, if you miss just 1 step it won't work. I will try to post step by step later tonight or tomorrow afternoon. I've gotta go set up DD's new tv and dvd/vcr combo. My mom & I split the cost for the DISNEY PRINCESS 19" TV and DVD/VCR. Her room is not Disney themed, but it IS PINK & PURPLE so it goes perfectly!! Can't wait to set it up!!

Leonor, I am cruising with RCCL on the Explorer of the Seas. We are leaving December 18th. Its a 6 day/5nt that goes to Costa Maya and the Grand Caymans. Dzne and Ericamanda, who is Dana? Does she have a website? What my travel agent did was that she originally quoted us the wrong price. Then she took my son and put him on his own account along with our taxes and port charges. I have no idea why she would do that. Then she conveniently forgot to tell me about any of it until I went to pay the cruise off yesterday. She refused to honor the quote and eat her own mistake and I refused to pay over $1000.00 more for the cruise. So, I canceled the cruise and had the deposits refunded. I will definately no longer be dealing with her and will tell as many people about her as possible. From her explanation, I almost think she did it on purpose in order to get extra money out of us.

That's a crappy thing for a TA to do. If she quoted you a price then she should stick to it. Anyway, Dana's website is micdan.com. She is the sweetest person and a joy to talk to. She is so honest as well. I asked her about a WDW park package and she siad that she most likly wouldn't have the best deal and to book WDW directly. How many TA's would do that.

The job is going great. Still washing my hands which are starting to hurt from it all. I guess i'll just have to go to Bath and Body works and get thier anti-bactiral (sp) lotion.

I will definately check out Dana. Thanks for the tip! As for Tropical Storm Tami, she is definately raining on my parade here. Not too much wind but lots of rain. We're supposed to get between 5 and 8 inches. Yuk!

That's wrong just wrong. Maybe she should be reported. Did you book the Dec cruise through her? If you did, I hope she gave you a whole bunch of free perks for doing so.

Cyndi, definitrly check with Dana. Call her at the number on the website www.micdan.com she specializes in DCL but I know she does RCCL as well, becasue she was able to gey my cousin a GREAT deal on an RCCL ship this past June. Let us know what she can do fo you Cyndi.

I'm trying to find a Wonder Woman costume for both of my girls. They're going as Wonder Woman and Wonder Woman's little sister. Kimi, the youngest asked if she could still wear her Sleeping Beauty dress. I'm freaking out b/c wonder woman costumes are outragiously priced- even for Ebay. I'm looking for deals every where I can think of.

Do any of you have any Wonder woman costumes laying around? I'm going to take my girls to the two party stores we have in town and look there as well. It's only the 6th of Oct. and I'm already having an anxiety attack
