And Australian! :goodvibes
Sorry, you guys too.
I'm not very good at posting pictures, The last one I posted took up the entire page! Here is the link to our actual boat. We sold our last boat and bought this one a few weeks ago - http://www.rmarineqld.com.au/buying/modelOverview.cfm?de=69173
well, that is WELL cool, I was going to post a picture of dads boat but wont bother now, maybe we could swap for a few weeks, do you fancy a holiday in scotland?lol
We joined the PIF Club several weeks ago with a payment on the Disney Visa, but I didn't want to say anything until I paid off the credit card. Did that yesterday.

Also on a good or I guess I should say wonderful note. I got the pathology report back from the growth on my pancreas and the report said there was no malignant potential for the cyst. I can not even begin to describe the relief my family and I felt when I read that report. Thank you all for you support through this.

Donna
Im so pleased for you donna, what a relief.
I had a surprise today ... we have been putting together some new bedroom furniture and this has resulted in me having to have a good sort out of my clothing .... during which I discovered a lovely semi-formal dress from Per Una which I bought in last years sale. I had completely forgotten about it. So thats one less thing to have to buy ..... :woohoo::woohoo::woohoo:
:confused3 no hidden shoes;)
You know with this talk about walking I made an observation after spending 2 weeks on the ship and then returning to an "american" hotel in Nashville - it is so easy on the ship to take the stairs - they are right there - encouraging you to take them - when the elevator is taking too long :) but when you are at places in the US like hotels, shopping malls, etc., stairs are like some dirty secret, concrete and metal, behind doors, hidden off in some corner that everyone is scared someone is hiding in ready to attack them. I feel encouraged to take the stairs on the ship (not that I always do) because they are inviting - maybe if all the stairs were not hidden away in the US we might be more encouraged to take them!

Just a few thoughts . . .

Krisann

I ALWAYS takie the stairs, Ive got no patience to wait on a lift.

Krisann, you have hit it on the head, and many hotel stairs in NA are never meant to be used unless it is an emergency.

I know, I was realy peeved last week, only in emergencys I waited 10 mins on the lift to go to the gym, HOW stupid is that?
I actually said, this is why we take the stairs on the magic.
Anyway gives everybody a thril when len has his kilt on, hahaha only joking

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!!!

Krisann - thanks for posting the Navigators, LOVED reading them. I am biased to the old way they did them, instead of the new way!

Donna - so glad to hear about your test results. I had a little scare last month that turned out to be nothing too.

I would LOVE to join a walking club! Also, anybody into college football that we can possibly get in Diversions sometime during the cruise???

The lady from the EB that has been e-mailing me since I sent her pictures of the Magic leaving the Port has been sooo sweet. I don't know why she avoided the food and I was dying to ask, but felt that it could be very personal so I didn't, but I cannot wait to hit the chocolate ice cream with caramel sauce! So the walking club is looking good.

Welcome to all the new people!!!! My husband informed me that for Mother's Day he has allowed me to be in the PIF Club!!! I am sooo excited!!!! YEAH!!

By the way, I have to tell you what I did yesterday. I went to the beach, Gulf side and the water was 83 (why isn't it like that at Castaway) anyway, I was swimming, floating, lounging and I saw this huge thing underway coming at me. First I thought, shadow of some kind, second, seaweed and third school of fish. Then i noticed it was quite huge. :scared1:I didn't panic but wasn't breathing and it lifted its head from the water and it was a manatee! I was so excited. I love animals, mammals, etc. so the start of my Mother's Day was fabulous as I swam next to a manatee!!!! Had to share:lovestruc

Roast beef and yorkshire pudding for us today too PJ!:thumbsup2

My family loves it when we have roast beef or prime rib - because it means I'm making Yorkshire pudding! Must be the English heritage (Woodman)!

That must have been an awesome site. Wish we were fortunate enough to have such wonderful weather that we could go for a swim. We will be lucky to get out of the 50's today.

Well, I asked you all nicely to not chat too much as I was away for a couple of day, and I come home to 10 pages, YES 10 PAGES!!!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

We have a Riviera M400, which is a 40 foot sports cruiser. We love it, My DH and I have both grown up around boats and the water, It's a great lifestyle. My older DD had her first go on a stand up Jet ski today, they've both been on the sit downs, but not the stand ups, She loved it. :cool1::cool1::cool1:

That place looks beautiful, just charmng.
I would love to come shopping with you, and believe me shopping in America is really worth the flight from Australia! But since I'm coming in a few months, I'd better not this time! :thumbsup2

What a glorious boat!! We love going wine tasting so this will be a fun wedding!! I would have loved you to come shopping with me as I didn't find a single thing!!

Congrats on PIF.

I am so happy for you that your report was negative for any malignancies!!

I'm really almost excited at the prospect of going shopping for some nice clothes, even though realistically it will probably be a big failure!!!:rotfl:

Last time for the PC cruise we left in April, so not many things to choose from by that time, and no way could I find anything remotely 'eveningy' as they all go in the sales after Christmas. At that time I was hoping to lose weight!!! ;)Actually put weight on of course so it would not have been a good idea anyway!!:rotfl2::rotfl2:

This time the summer sales will be in full swing, and maybe some dressy items coming into the shops ready for the Christmas party season. One can hope.:rotfl2:

I wish I could find something "new" in my closet but have really pared down the wardrobe in the last few years. If I don't find something for the wedding, I will be looking for the party season in the early fall for something special!!

Just my thoughts...

I hope we can get a walking club going once we see what hours people are available on the ship. I also love college football as both my nephews used to play. Congrats on the PIF!!

Your swim with the manatee sound fabulous!!

It had been asked earlier about afternoon Deck Buffets - I do not remember there being any - but that doesn't mean they did not happen - I will look through the navigators and see what sparks my memory. We did have a deck party when we left one port but I did not go to it so do not know if there was any food or not at that one. Sorry I am not much help. I never went hungry and always found what something to eat!
