I'll report in later on the PC prices. Checked the Castaway Club site and my TA got me the same cabin as I have for this cruise (7620), so I'll be able to do a comparison, but my fare isn't showing up yet. The prices I'm seeing are pretty darn high! Once I have it, I'll have to do some airfare checking for this cruise and see which one will work best for us (can't do both).

.

We live in the Niagara area, forget about what things are like when you see it all the time. Had friends, Lyn (lyn9856) and her DH, who we met on our last cruise visit with us for a week. So, we spent the week being local tourists. Didn't realize how much there is to do.

Its the same for us here! My sisters friend came to visit from LA and we did loads of tourist things! It was weird cause a lot of it we would have never even noticed if not for her

I was surprised at the prices!

NEWSFLASH

CAT11's have reappeared for our cruise! Me thinks people are starting to jump ship!

Prices are $70 more than opening price per person but don't have FSC on them which is $114 each I think so people may want to consider having a route around?

I love the look of the trio! Can't wait to try that!

Is anyone keeping track of the booking madness? I was for my sister whos silver and wants to do the repo from LA to Vancouver. Rumour has it that the 50% discount on deposit may be ending on Wednesday!

I booked Alaska 7/26 cruise for the 2 of us. $2600 for Cat11C GTY. We are happy cruisers. I waited on the phone for a little over 90 minutes. Still got early dining so I think that particular cruise had not filled up fast.

Do you mean choosing between this one and another PC one? Don't jump ship, Jackie!! :sad2:

We all tend to forget the wonderful things around us until visitors come. Sad. :sad2:

Wonder if a disabled one opens up, ooo I hope so, everybody cross your fingers.:wizard:

Congrats! That's a really good price too!

I think I might be swaying towards the LA-Vancouver repo as it seems reasonable. Put in a very late (as Gold CC member) DU request to have a look at the prices and may phone later.

This is the one I would love to do - can't do anything at the moment as I am only silver! What dates are the LA - Vancouver and Vancouver - LA repo cruises?

If lots jump ship I hope they drop the prices of the balcony staterooms - as I would sure love to snag one of those at the right price.

Think its the 27th April for the LA - Vancouver via San Fransisco and Vancouver - LA via Mexico is the 20th September

Hope you decide to stay with us on this cruise.

Hey Everyone,

I know I never post here hardly anymore. Life is crazy....I promise you'll hear more from me and Jason as this cruise gets closer. We have a trip to WDW in Nov/Dec (w/ Hadley and her family) to get out of our way and then our focus can move to Sept. 2010 and our B2B cruises! :thumbsup2 Although I have not been posting, I promise I have been a religious lurker/reader.

However, I decided to crawl out of my hole and post today as I saw folks posting their 2011 plans. Jason and I booked our 2011 trips today. We're doing the Northbound repo from LA to Vancouver in late April and then staying aboard to do a B2B with the first Alaskan cruise on May 3rd. We got a Cat 7 (or, as they're called now, "Cat 7A":rotfl2:) and got room 7622 for both trips which is awesome. We got an AMAZING deal (in my opinion) on the LA to Vancouver trip and even the Alaskan, while twice as expensive, was reasonable I thought. We're doing the entire 14-day B2B for less than $6000!! (which, compared to the VERY hefty price tag we're paying for the last Med 10-night and the WBTA in 2010, feels like nothing!)

I guess now I have to start searching for meet threads fro those 2011 cruises, huh? :rotfl:

Eric, I'm glad you managed to get booked up. Im still waiting for a quote on this one as not sure whether to do the LA Vancouver or not. Depends alot on price.

Updated - was looking on DCL site at price to upgrade reservation and it seems all categories bar 12 are now available to purchase

Not good for me really as I am looking for a cruise in October 2011 (DH is 50 and it would be nice to celebrate it on a cruise). But even so the LA - Vancouver is very tempting.

Good bye! I just couldn't work through the flight anxiety of flying to Barcelona, so we traded this cruise in for the Panama Canal.

Good luck for next week.

I've noticed one person whos posted saying the changed off the TA LindaBabe so I'm glad she got the cruise she wanted!

The LA to VAncouver was dirt cheap honestly. It cost us less than a 4 night on the Wonder!

My mind at the moment is on another cruise. Two weeks from now we should just have sailed away from Port Canaveral. Somehow I managed to get behind with getting ready for that cruise. I am in the process of putting the lanyards together that I will give as the main FE gift. I have 50 done and 50 more to do. This is definitely a labour of love. I hope that I get them finished tonight and then I will finish of the gifts for the older boys tomorrow. I have a few more gifts to label as well and then I am done with this. I also have to type up the notes that I intend to leave for my Secret Mickey. I can't believe that I will nearly be in Orlando in 11 days time.

Corinna

Yes, us too. We're off in 4 weeks time.
