This is our last day in Barcelona before we leave tomorrow morning for Girona. We´ll spend 2 nights there, visit the Dali Museum and then return to BCN Thursday afternoon. Today we spent the day walking in Barri Goti again. The old buildings and alleyways are fascinating. The weather is still very warm and sunny. Hopefully it keeps up for all of you coming soon.

El Cortes Ingles has everything you need, all American and European brands of cosmetics are available, so if you are having problems with luggage weight, shop in BCN.

Wow!!!! Part Ten!!!

Afternoon, everyone. Just back from my pre-cruise facial - I had a special CACI one (stands for Computer Aided Cosmetology Instrument apparently!!! ) and, despite it not sounding at all relaxing, I loved it!!! I cannot believe the difference I can see already - and it should only continue to improve... I had just a one-off taster session today, but will definitely book up for a course when I'm back...

Anyway, it's something to tick off my list and whilst there I made my nail and eyebrow appointments for Friday... DD Sophie is coming round tomorrow evening to do my pedi - her's are most definitely the BEST!!!

Later today I plan to print off all relevant docs and organise my toiletries. That'll just leave make-up... ALMOST GOOD TO GO!!!!

Off to make a coffee and catch up with the thread...

Oh, lucky you. I love facials, and have actually had one of the CACI ones once. I feel relaxed thinking about it. Unfortunately my face is so sensitive these days even facials designed for sensitive skin starts it all off, so i have had to forgo them. However I hope to get a back, neck and scalp massage onboard. The scalp massage is sooooo relaxing too.

Just spent the past 6 hours in the ER with Howard
Kidney stones got the best of him again.
He gets sicker every time.

Oh Annie, I'm so sorry - poor Howard and poor you!!! Fingers crossed it settles down and he can enjoy the trip...

We left Emiel and Yvette last Friday to carry on to Bob and Lynne's. Here is how the trip went. Missed our first train out of Delft, good thing we planned for that. Caught the next three trains and transfers without any troubles. Got to DUS with lots of time to spare, 7 hours that is. Decided to save Candida any extra time on her feet we would relax at the airport. Checkec our luggage in so we wouldn't have to deal with that anymore. Our flight was delayed by 45 min. It was a good flight no troubles there. Got down to the luggage claim, and waited, and waited, and waited. NO LUGGAGE. They misplaced both of our bags. It finally arrived the next morning at Bob and Lynne's. It was at the airport the whole time. Just not were it should have been. It's been a fun time here. We'll see everyone in a few days.

Now , I was going to go to bed for a few hours but my head is buzzing with all the stuff I have to do, going to pack, cause Im dreadingt hat the most then we will see.

Very late getting on the Dis this morning. I had such a good night's sleep and John let me sleep in till almost 9am, completely unheard so. Boy, I have so much to do I could have done with being up at 6am, but for sure I feel so much better!

Good for John!!! If you slept it, you needed it!!! Hope the day's going well and you're ready for it to be tomorrow...

Well, we found out that Cruise Formalwear only had Marc's order for his tux and not mine! Hmpffff! I THOUGHT he wanted to have dinner together......

So, the black jacket and shoes stay home while the white jacket, Mickey cummerbunds, vests, ties, studs, and cufflinks get packed! I did NOT want to pack another pair of shoes!!

LOTS of running around today - making sure we have time to get the dogs to the kennel. At least 3 of them will think they're on vacation; No. 4, not so much.

Now, where did we put those suitcases?????

We have 3 four legged canine friends and, whilst 2 of them will be delighted to be back with their 'other family' in the delightful Kent countryside, one lady will be giving me LOTS of mournful eye contact on Friday morning...

IKWYM. I've been putting off having it as I was scared it would make my skin react - and superblotchy is definitely not a great cruise look for this (or any ) season. But my lovely beautician gave me a patch test last week with no adverse reaction plus said she'd use very little product and let the electrical currents do their thing - which seemed to work fine.

I can't believe the results - I went in looking what I'd politely call "cream crackered" and by the time I got home, looked more like I had a week of great sleep!!! And that's before the cruise!!!

Yes, she was given the new meds today so we're crossing everything she doesn't have a bad reaction to them. She's not too good just now and I just don't know what to do to help her........*sigh*

When we meet at the terminal I'll be the one who's the gibbering wreck with completely white hair......................and that's after irt's been coloured today!

Hi everyone...won't be long now. I'm pretty much packed. Now I'm into panic mode. Did I pack too much? not enough? right stuff? etc I discovered one of my fancy formal/semi-formal tops had a stain, so into the wash it went. Now it has to dry before it gets packed again. Looking forward to see everyone in a couple of days.

I got called into work this morning, but the phone rang at 6:45 to report at 7:25, so I turned it down. Too much rushing around.

No, I didn't, Marilyn. I did see posting but it wasn't the one that was a .pdf or for the Apple machines. I thought I read after we posted that it was going to be updated once again today. I'm gonna hold on for a bit.
