to anyone whos been to US mid sept:

How are the crowds? large enough to stay onsite?

We want to go to Universal on Friday and IoA on Saturday. We are actually going for the mnsshp friday night, but cant go to orlando without going to Universal. This is a mini trip and im trying not to spend so much $$. If i dont
need the FOTL then we'll just stay at Disney the Friday night 65.00 (AAA) compared to 239.00 Royal Pacific.
any help would be appreciated.

Nah...I think you'll be fine staying offsite. The crowds aren't usually bad in mid September.

We always go the week of 9/19 and enjoy our offsite timeshare, as there's really no need for FOTL.

I know somewhere I've got pictures of the parks in mid-September. They're empty.

Have fun!

Are all of the rides/attractions open and operating fully during the offseason?

which is the better choice for warm weather. I mean warm enough to do the water rides with smaller kids and not be chilly when your soaked. Late Sept/early Oct or late march?

September/October can still be very warm and humid so I would pick that time of year.

thanks for the replies metro west. I was leaning towards march because we already have a trip at the end of this month and nothing for next year but I was worried about the weather. Guess I need to rethink my plan now:confused:

March is nice too but isn't as warm overall as the fall. You still have cool nights/mornings so water rides might be a challenge.
