I have the REAS package and booked a dinner and brunch already by calling Debbie direct instead of waiting. I think that is only fair since I have almost 2 more weeks until I do the document dance.

Trasee: Congratulations on your successful party! I bet everyone had a great time. What time do you get to the terminal?

Welcome Ddailey I also have a 10 year old son, he is glad to hear about other boys his age. If any of you with boys close to 10yrs want to e-mail he would love to(he had a ready made friend on our last cruise from these boards)
I went shopping this weekend and found a swim suite 50% off, my size and I loved it. I wasnt really needing another but when you find one on sale and cute in your size its a must have. I also found my hubby a really great silk Hawain type shirt 50% off, and flip flops for my daughter and myself. I'm ready to start packing!

Congrats on the bathing suit find at 50% off! I need to go and get a new one, but it is my least favorite shopping to do! I am 42 and since I turned 40 I acquired the nice little over 40 belly! My "diet" from now until the cruise it to really watch what I eat during the week and eat whatever I would like to on the weekends. Well....trying to keep this promise to myself, I ate 2 pieces of my son's graduation cake last night. (because Monday was fast approaching) (oh,and ice cream) Moderation is not my strong suit!!

4Sedgs...we get to the port around 1030. I just can't stand not to be there, knowing that the cruise ship is sitting there!

OUCH! Buying a bathing suit online? I'm not confident enough to pull that one off! I have to try them on! But I bet you can really find some great deals and always return it if it doesn't work out (which is usually the way my bathing suit shopping goes!)

Still no doc's here....I'm sure once I receive them time will begin to fly. Right now I feel like I'm just in limbo....excursions already booked, too early to pack, not much left to shop for.....blah!

I'm ready to go, already!

Landsend.com is GREAT for making suits for REAL women!
They let you return for any reason which is nice AND they have a "virtual model" to see what it will look like that's pretty cool too!

Got home from work today, and went to get the mail, as I'm pulling it out of the mailbox, I see three boxes on the porch.... dropped the mail on the ground, with Ed laughing at me the whole time, and grabbed the boxes. Went running in the house, and was yelling, they are here, they are here!!!!! :thewave:

We received our documents from Costco yesterday! Being a cruise neophyte and based on all the discussion/hoopla, I guess I was expecting something more. I suppose the big deal is that the final countdown is underway. That's good enough for me!!! We've got four weeks from tomorrow to catch our plane...

Hi everyone. And welcome to the new cruisers. I can't beleive time is going soo fast. Not much longer now. So far no documents for us...but that's alright...were still not home to enjoy getting them. Sydney is still hanging in there...being a real trooper. She has got such good spirits for being in here. We did have a little run in with her getting quite bossy to us yesterday. But I guess that's just one way a 6yo deals with having and contol taken away. She is scheduled to go into the OR tomarrow to have a PICC line placed. (They tryed to place the PICC three times last friday in the procedure room and had no luck...so off to the OR she goes) I have my finger crossed that she dosn't get bumped. Her procedure is not untill 11:30...and she had to remain nothing by mouth from now until then. . Luckly she has been sleeping in until 10ish. The staff here is soo wonderful and great. So far I can't find enough nice things to say about them. They handle and deal with this sooo well. She is loving having the "play" people come around...there job is to just play with the kids one on one....it's great...gives Jesse and I a little break.

Well I just wanted to give a little update on how things were going. I'll try and update as things go on...Jesse is heading back to town tomarrow...and I'm afraid he's going to take the laptop with him So I may be left with out connections....well I suppose I can go upstairs to the family resource room...but I don't think they stay open...durring my hours...LOL I'm a night owl.

Scrapperjill, thank you for the update. I hope all goes well with the procedure this morning. I thought being bossy was just second nature for any girl. Peyton is almost 5 and is always bossy! You are lucky if this is the only time Sydney gets bossy with you. It is good that they have people there that give you the opportunity to take a break every now and then. keep us posted if you can.

TraSee, oh yeah, drop the mail, who cares about bills and junk mail, when there are boxes from disney sitting there waiting for you to open them and look. Ed keeps laughing at me, because I'm already packed, and keep asking every day if we can leave yet. The kids are even looking forward to school starting, mostly, because, they start school 2 weeks from today, and we leave for the trip 2 weeks after that LOL.

We've got our alien green paint chips, and we're running out to get a few more things today.
