For those of you that watch Modern Family, this dining discussion reminds me of an exchange between Mitchell and Cameron on a recent episode.

Mitchell is on the phone trying to make dinner reservations at the "hottest new restaurant" and they only have two available times. The exchange goes like this:

Mitchell: "They only have two times available. 5 o'clock..."
Cameron: "What are we...80?!"
Mitchell: "...and 10 o'clock..."
Cameron: "What are we....20?!"

So true!

Love, love, love Modern Family!! Mitchell and Cameron are sooo funny! But I think Manny and Gloria are my favorite characters. Manny is just so cool, and Gloria is the best. I loved the time she was giving Phil a haircut and he was telling her about all the wrong things he said to Claire. "You do that to me, I kill you!" :rotfl: Yep, you tell him, Gloria!

I was late dining last time. I started off going to the late show, but then switched to going before dining. After dinner I liked to sit in sessions :)

I love piano bars... I think I'll have to book a few "late nights" at the nursery so Curt and I can have a "date"!! :thumbsup2

KarenTan -

If everyone would like I would be happy to coordinate the dinner bookings for everyone. This was we can all it near each other. If you can add to the front page to send me a PM, All I should need is:

Booking Number
Main Name on Booking (Real Name)
Main or Late

I will then put the list together and forward to DCL about 45 days before.

Is Everyone game?

Dan

I don't think i've seen it? We pretty much watch everything from sky+ so we can skip all the adverts! :lmao:
It's the one where they get 'surprised' early in the morning by the kids and they are in bed :rotfl:
It really did!! I would much prefer 8.15 to 8.30!!

We had booked early dining for this cruise, but after seeing that it could be 5.45 we changed back to late!!
I think we'll just stick to early, I'd rather eat early and save some room for the dessert buffet ;)

Last year on the WBTA(the Magic) early was 6pm and late 8.30. On the Wonder this past January, it was 5.45 and 8.15. Much better for late but so silly for early.

Late is too late and early is too early ... I wish they had a 7pm / 7:30 option.
But late is better than early as I like to chill in the evenings and not have to rush to dress for dinner .. this next time we may not be in such a rush to see the cabaret style shows ( especially repeat acts ) so on the days when it isn't a Disney show we may stay by the pool later and relax a bit more. This is the plan ! Some of thsoe cabaret - style acts I would not rush to see again, but I really hope they have a performer of the calibre of Jodi Benson again .. she was incredible !!

Did they have any special pins on last years WBTA? One for each port? Or any other special merchandise? The shopaholic in me needs to know!!! :rotfl:

Claire ... last time they had a special pin for the Eastbound and a special pin for the westbound. Each one had half of the Magic on them and they fitted together to make the whole picture. I will take a photo of the WB one and show you if you like. All of the Eastbound merchandise was greatly reduced when we got on board, and by the last few days of our cruise the WB merchandise was reduced too.

That pin is fab! Thanks Sarah. :thumbsup2

I have got 3 menus from our Dream Maiden voyage, it is such a great idea to frame them I think i'm going to do that too. :thumbsup2

They also had all the usual suspects with that logo on .. fridge magnets, T-shirts, sweatshirts, Christmas tree decorations, shot glasses etc etc. Lots to attract the shopaholic and needless to say I bought most of them !!

As well as pins, there was all manner of WBTA to buy, key rings, magnets, cups, bookmarks, t shirts and lots more!

As Sarah mentioned some lines were reduced toward the end of the cruise, plus several items left over from the Med cruises were available at reduced prices.

I'm on late dining and will certainly be skipping some of the non Disney evening shows, some of them were certainly not to our tastes, although plenty of folks seemed to enjoy them,

Our star act was Jodi Benson, voice of the Little Mermaid, while on the EBTA they had

Justin Guarini.....

Now all non US Disers are thinking WHO? :-)

Ooooooh that all sounds fab! :cool1: It's a good job i've got a much better baggage allowance on the way home than we have on the way to Barcelona. :rotfl2:

I would love it if Jodi Benson is on this year but obviously you folks that did last years would probably prefer someone new.

From American Idol - I vaguely recognised the name and google is my friend. :lmao:
