OMG, Is it raining everywhere in the world? Pouring the last two days in New Jersey. Our flight is Thursday night out of JFK to Dublin, where oddly enough, it's raining. I will be so glad to see some sun in Barcelona. Provided all flights are on time. I will not be able to relax until our connection leaves from Dublin and we see our bags in Barcelona. I will need a stiff drink at the Hard Rock on Friday night. Even though I don't drink. I will be here all day if anyone wants to say HI. Precious few of us left.

PLEASE SEND IT TO TEXAS! We are in such a horrible drought. Wild fires everywhere! We so need some rain!

Can I get it done aboard the Magic and how much do they charge?

I had mine done on the The Panama Canal cruise. No wash, she just used the curling iron, made curls, pinned them up and charged me $80. It was so not worth it......


We are in Barcelona and the weather here is wonderful.. not like the 100+ degrees we have had at home for the last 67 days!

We have had great adventures here so far and are looking forward to Sat. and boarding the ship!

I can't wait to see everyone! For those of you not here yet... I wish you safe and pleasant travels....

Good morning to the left behind stragglers ..... I am just about to commence my final day at work .... can't wait for 5pm . This evening we are taking my Mum out for a meal as it is her birthday today, so at least we don't have to cook !!!

Packing all completed except for the Tux jacket which he won't let me pack in case it creases and toiletries which will go in later.

FE gifts mostly packed up now ... just got to finish packing my carry on stuff and thats it.

Then it will just be tiidying up and making sure we have everything, an early night and up at 4am tomorrow to drive to the airport

Hope everyone has a good day .... see you this evening... when I will be hyped to the hilt

Yes, it looks like you have 2 boys the same age! That will be great, maybe they can keep each other occupied. I'm a little concerned the tour might be too long for my kids.

Fairly calm at the moment. All the bags should be ok and just need locking. I need to wash my hair. John will do all the security things. Boy it is so different leaving the house for 8 weeks rather than just 2!!

Haven't managed to see the children for one reason or another but they are all fine. Our daughter and family were on the NCL Epic in the Med last week and had a great time. I haven't chatted about it yet though.

Well just 21 hours of work left over next 2 days then we'll be free to go join everyone else.

Feels a bit like a relay race and we have to wait until last to start out leg but it'll be worth it when we get there!!

Autumn wheather in Germany. It's cold an rainy. Time to leave. My bags are packed and in about 24 hours we're starting to barcelona. Then we'll spend 1 night at the bw hotel near airport und then it's time to boarding. I'm really nervous this time and I don't know why.

Should be an interesting drive to the airport today. We've had 7-10 inches of rain in the area over the last 12 hours. Lots of roads being closed due to being covered in water. They just put up a map marking all the flood and flash-flood warning areas and it covers where I live and the two airports I'm driving to this afternoon. (Driving from my home to BWI (Baltimore) airport, parking and getting a rental car and then driving to PHL (Philadelphia) for my flight to Barcelona.) Maybe I'll just swim instead!

Some last minute bits, trying to do a bit of housework today, but leaving DS and DD at 17 & 22, it may not be worth the effort !! but I have said if I come home to loads of washing and washing up in the sink I will not be happy, but after seven weeks away from home I'm sure I will forgive them almost anything !!
Having to do some cooking friday early before we leave tomorrow , so I know at least they will survive the weekend

Ok 140 pages could be a little out of reach!!

Margaret- how do you have room in your case for anything else with 23 dresses? or is DH only taking pants!!!!

Hazel not much room for other things I wil just have to purchase somemore clothes in Florida as hard as that may be!! and I will try to leave some room for DH, lol believe me just pants for him isn't an option

We started with 3 cases 1 each and one for formal bits and bobs.

Now we have 3 cases 2 for DW 1 for formal bit and bobs and anything of mine the weight limit allows

DH after 25 years you shouldn't be surprised, when I'm trying to pack your clothes just get in the way !!

Finally done with work - deleted my work email account ENTIRELY from my iPhone so there's not a chance of seeing anything while I'm gone!

Leaving for the airport just before 9am tomorrow - checked in online tonight, hanging in the Admiral's Club tomorrow while we wait...free booze and Wifi.

Can't wait to see many of you at the HRC Friday night and the rest of you onboard Saturday!

Sounds like you are all organised, but I know what you mean we are away for seven weeks. And by the time we reach new york at the end of october it will require totally different clothes from the cruise !! Our kids age 17 & 22 will be at home...... just hoping they don't have any wild parties.lol but at least the cat will keep them in order

Now off upstairs to do last minute packing and to see what room I can spare DH
