Thank you. I may not be around much after tomorrow evening as we are away until Tuesday so i'll sort it out with you when i get back. :)

Don't worry at all. We are leaving to go to the beach and won't be back til Friday. Did you want just one set? :confused3

some positive news for those of us in the 2 brunch groups, email from kelly at dcl:yay: heres hoping...
am i reading it different to all of you, i was thinking she meant the private room is still available on all sea days???

I wasn't sure if she meant that or that they offer it all Sea Days - I'm thinking the former. It's not unlikely that no one has requested it before us. How many groups of 12-14 adults are traveling together (and on a TA) and want to do Palo Brunch? DISboarders, maybe CruiseCritic or Passporters fans.

If someone does back out, certainly someone else would be willing to join us. We still have time for more people to join our DISband. Just wait until August and new people will discover the site and want to join in the FE and other activities (that's why you make provision ahead of time, because it always happens). I discovered DISboards right after the cut-off for FEs one year - and they let me join. When in charge, I like groups of 12 cabins and create a catch-all group at the end.

...really wanted this but was sold out :sad1:

minnie-1.jpg

Were you going to wear it to Champagne Girls? Would look pretty nice with your tiara and boa. :rotfl2:

...Here is a photo of my dog at the beach. He loves it there.

CIMG2197.JPG

I love dog pictures. Thank you. Did he go hiking in VA with y'all?

Maybe you have your Karens mixed up ... I'm pretty sure that Karentan lives in England :goodvibes

Maybe she was thinking PFlamingo; Pat lives in GA. It took me awhile to remember which was which - they both have been so helpful in being responsible for our DIS activities.

Today's a good day!

I just looked at our reservation on American Airlines and noticed two exit row seats were open between JFK and Barcelona and I snagged them! :thumbsup2

We are flying on what are called "AAnytime" awards, which means that it treats them like full fare coach. This gets us the benefit of two free bags each and the ability to book exit rows in advance!

It's not business class unfortunately, but this is the next best thing on a 7.5 hour flight! And the tickets only cost us $10 each (stupid security fee)!

:thumbsup2 Makes this trip even nicer.

...it started because all the people on deck five were telling the deck six people to keep the noise down. so we started threatening to do the riverdance just to annoy them!...

Thank you. I almost had the story right.

:cheer2::cheer2:Many congratulations Claire and Lee on your 10th Wedding Anniversary. :cheer2::cheer2:

Hope you have an awesome time in London celebrating!

Thank you Lorraine. :goodvibes

oh and just wanted to say sorry to anyone who's PM'd me the last couple of days, not been well so just been on here to check posts quickly. havent got round to answering any of them. but will sort them out soon

hope your feeling better karen, ive been laid low this week too, must be
summer flu:sad2: but made myself go out with girls last night to see
Bridesmaids :cutie:

So sorry for those of you who've fallen ill in the last few days (or pages, whichever makes more sense) and just remember to get all those silly fevers and aches out of your system so you can cruise well and happy! Better now than in Barca, I say.

I've forgotten to multi-quote but so enjoyed the doggie pic just posted!

Just finished my dry-erase board for the door. Plain jane rectangle one embellished with a couple of stickers--and I'm so excited I had to show DH, and then admire it on the refrigerator! I'll try to link a photo so you'll know my door and can leave scribbles!

:thumbsup2:woohoo: I actually use to work for them. If you ever get a chance to see their store house you will not be able to walk out without spending hundred's of dollars. :) I am hoping that my stuff for the exchange will be a personalized cruise ship with our sailing dates on it. (sorry I just let the cat out of the bag). The people are super awesome that work there.

Where are they located in florida??? Always love an new place to get scrapbook supplies, especially paper to use with my cricut machine!!!:thumbsup2

Fantastic  well done on getting the leg room seats and the mega cheap flights. We had to pay $150 each for our reward virgin flights for the taxes :sad2: but still a bargain :cool1:

WOW they are fab!!!!!!!!!!! Perfect for this cruise!!!!

It makes me cry that I can't get stuff like that over here. :sad1: :headache:

I'll be glad to pick them up for you. I'll let you know tomorrow evening if I am able to get them! :goodvibes

I would be more than happy to pick up some for both of you as I will be heading over there after work in a few hours and I know they carry them. Let me know : )

Hey everyone
Not posted much as been researching ports, Orlando hotels etc.Plus reading some of the other threads for this trip and getting to know you all. Cant wait to meet everyone.

Still having probs with not being able to check in for the kids club/excursions/spa on the DCL site very annoying but Disney blame the TA and the TA cant understand it:confused3 Disney finally said to give it 5 working days and if no luck call back.

On the bright side I ordered all my materials for my FE's today and have done lots of shopping for clothes for myself and the boys this week. Am working all weekend though.

Which reminds me if anyone wants advice on shaping up for the cruise PM with any questions. I am a fitness instructor and an (almost qualified) Personal Trainer. I too am looking to lose some weight for the cruise.

Does anyone know if Ducky Williams is rumoured to be on this cruise? My son adores him aand wants to be an artist. I would love to be able to tell him he can meet him again.

Congratulations!!! Love the exit row:thumbsup2

Congratulations!!! Love the exit row:thumbsup2

I didn't realize we could book them but it let me select them and save the change.

Then right afterwards I looked it up on AA's site and it says that "AAnytime" awards give you benefits like you bought a full fare coach ticket - the larger luggage allowance, ability to use the priority security lanes, you get to board first, etc - and ability to get the exit rows in advance. I wish I had known this before!

If I can't be in first or business (which I would love to do on an international trip sometime), I figure this is as good as it can get...and for $10, who's going to complain?!

Hi Colette

I hope you get your reservation sorted out soon :thumbsup2

I was chatting to one of the officers on our cruise last week, who is a friend of ducky's who said that he managed to fit the eastbound in this year but won't manage the westbound unfortunately :sad2: due to other commitments. I was looking forward to seeing him and catching up with him again, he is a lovely man and sooooooo interesting :)

We spent a bit of time with him on last years WBTA as his friend, George, who was cruising with him, comes from the same part of Scotland as me

Yes, Happy 10th Anniversary Claire and Lee. Sorry I missed your post about your surprise trip.

Thanks Marilyn. :goodvibes

How was Bridesmaids?? I quite fancy seeing that.

Thanks so much Karen. Deb has offered to get some for me so whatever she wants to do is fine by me, i'd hate to say for you to get them and then Deb get them for me aswell....although i'm sure i'd use them all as they are fab. :lmao:

It sounds like you are getting on well with your planning. :goodvibes

Someone posted ages ago on one of the older threads that Don Ducky Williams won't be on this cruise as he is doing something DVC related that clashed with our dates. :guilty:

Sorry to hear you are still having difficulty logging in, one thing that springs to mind have you checked your cruise is showing as paid in full on dcl's site?

Sur La Table, Crate & Barrel, Williams Sonoma. I love any store selling kitchen gadgets!

We are solely on AA, but I saw that they are doing some flights with Iberia now (through Miami?).

Kitchen stuff is so fun! I also love Pampered Chef stuff, my sil used to sell it but she doesn't anymore. Their garlic press is a godsend (you don't have to peel the garlic before pressing it.)

We are actually flying out of Orlando this time. We live in Sarasota (south of Tampa) but we're doing one night at wdw before the cruise so we can leave our car on property and not pay parking for 14 nights. Its a codeshare or something on Iberia - though thats more my husband's area, he loves airplanes.

Cute doggie. :goodvibes

Sounds like you have some fun things planned to celebrate 4th of July.

It's our 10th wedding Anniversary on Monday and i've planned a surprise for Lee, we are going to London on Sunday & staying over night. I've got lots of surprises booked for us and I can't wait! :cool1:

Thanks! He's our pride and joy.

Congratulations on your anniversary!!! 10 years is something to be very proud of!
My parents were also married on July 4th and stayed married nearly 30 years before my dad passed.

yeah i'm not against making a fool of myself doing all the party dances. gary will probably be in the adult hottubs anyway avoiding the party so need a dance partner!

Its a date! Anyone else want to join the dance group? No special skill required though if you look ridiculous dancing, its a plus. :teeth:

I love dog pictures. Thank you. Did he go hiking in VA with y'all?

He most certainly did - we actually called it his vacation b/c we didn't do anything that didn't include him, we were together for the whole time and did dog-friendly activities. Here are some photos of him from that vacation:

I can't tell if he's smiling or if he's just hot.

Do you have a furbaby Lynne?

I hope you feel better soon! :flower3:

How did you like Bridesmaids? I thought it was funny, but kept waiting for a trip to Vegas that never happened.

I've forgotten to multi-quote but so enjoyed the doggie pic just posted!

Thanks!

Yes it says paid in full nobody seems to understand why it is happening. I dont mind as there was nothing in particular I was desperate to book but its a bit of a let down when you rush on all excited and cant book in for anything.
I think I should get compensation because the time I wouldv'e spent on Disney has been spent on shopping sites buying things:rotfl2:
