Whoops sorry.Missed this. ... Mostly looking at beach breaks...thinking about turtle farm in grand cayman... We only have costa maya nailed down though.... Still need to figure out gc and coz

I really want to do it as well - although hubby is worried that if we do it on our own we won't have much time there. He will worry about making it back to the boat on time.

Oh it is fun fun fun!!!!
It was one of the best family excursions ever!!! Nice pool as well with waterslide and so many hands on chances to touch the turtles!!!!

We did this one with Disney so we could tender first.... If that was not an issue to me I feel it is doable on your own but I did not want to wait to tender and a schedule was better for me with the kids. My sister did it on her own with her DH because they did the dolphin experience as well and loved it!!

If you are taking your stroller and book it direct if possible .. we saw little ones there in strollers so it must be possible

So I've read about some of you guys going to tropicante. What is this all about?? Do you just sit at the beach and eat all day? Can u buy packages or is it whenever ur hungry u go and get food

I don't want to tell you !!! I don't want to share my find ... ahahaha just kidding.

I have not been there before but the place gets great reviews. I have read about them on here, on trip advisor, and on cruise critic. The comments are all overwhelmingly positive.

They are a restaurant/bar on the beach in Mahahual - the small town right outside of the port in Costa Maya. It is on Malecon beach. You would need to take a short cab ride(5 mins or less) to get there. You email Steve in advance to reserve loungers or a table. That part is free - all that they want in return is for you to order food/drink while there. They can also arrange for some snorkeling, fishing, boating etc as well as massage for very good prices. I figured it was a better option then paying for an AI because of how short a time we are in port. The food and drink prices are super reasonable. There is also a mile long "walk" that has shopping and what not.

Humm I might have to steal your secret find haha I don't want to spend a super ton on a excursion that my babY will never remember lol my 6yr old she will careless what we do as long as she can swim pulse there food sounds yummy lol

I'm with you on that but crazy how fast it has gone we head down to Disney in one week then come home for two and leave again for the cruise tried to get the dh to let me spend the month down there but it didn't work lol
