I am going to WDW last two weeks in sept 05. please can any one help with a few questions i have. first is the weather very hot. i was at wdw last year [second two weeks in october and the weather was fine hot but i could manage] is the weather so very different in sept. also has anyone been to MNSSHP on the first night is it very busy? also would love to know who alse will be their in september many thanks

We were on our honeymoon at the end of Sept., beginning of Oct. 2004 and the weather was extremely hot, but pretty managable. The humidity was not too bad....then again, we're from New England where it can get pretty humid in the summer, so our tolerance is high. I think that time of year is a great time to visit....even though it's still very warm, the crowds are thinner because kids are back in school. We went to MNSSHP on the second night and the crowds were very managable. It's a controlled attendance event so I'm not sure it ever gets out of hand. We were able to ride BTMRR a few times in a row because there was no line! The party was soooo much fun too....we loved it. Have a great trip :)

We were there last year in Sept. and are booked to go again Sept.27-Oct.1.We had to stay 2 days longer (10 days) last year because of huricane Jeanne.2 years ago we were there for the MNSSHP and it was fun. We were traveling with a 13 year old at that time and several adults and we all had a great time.Looking forward to going Sept.30th this year if they do not change the dates. The parks were not bad.I think that the last 2 years there may have been more people than most dates because of the fairytale package and the 4-7 deal last year.It was much better than going in June and July which we have done many times. Its hot then also, just not as hot as June or July.

We always go in september!!! Absolutely love it!
It is hot and humid... but for us that is normal!
We are going this year, the 2nd thru the 18th! Yippee! Cant wait!!!

The lines for rides are slim to none! Lots of them you can just walk on! No waiting!
Have fun!!!!

many thanks for your replys can you just tell me please when you say humid is it as bad as july and august? sorry if this sounds a silly question its just i can handle the heat its just where i live [ London ] its not hot and humid very often many thanks

we go almost every yaer in september. Low crowds.....
it can be hot but it is not as Humid as the June-august or as hot
but you can get some days that are but they are rare as you can some much worse days the other months
you will be happy with your decison
my cousine went last september and wondered why they were not doing this all along
that was the first year we went in oct. more crowds... similiar weather The food and wine festival is nice but not worth the crowds..... to me at least
besides I would rather eat inside not while I am walking or doing something else... do this enough at work... but the beer and wine was nice.... :jumping1:
this year Septmeber 17-25
Good luck

We've gone in September for the last 4 years, and loved it. Low crowds are great. There's no need to commando tour. It's a much more leasurly pace. For heat and humidity, it is both. I am from Colorado, so any humidity is a lot, but it doesn't really bother me. I've only been in August once, and it seemed about the same, but, again, my reference point is skewed. You need to be aware that it's hurricane season. We've never had to change our trip due to one, and have had great weather every trip, but it can be rainy and yucky too.

This year we are going in May to celelbrate our 25th anniversay. I will miss the laid-back atomosphere of September.

Have a great time!

We went in late September last year. It was in the low 80's most days, humid but not overly so. Definitely not as humid as July. Lines were practically non-existant.

We will be there Sept. 18th-25th this year for my daughter's 3rd birthday. I expect it to be very quiet again this year, thanks to all of the hurricanes last year. I'm hoping that the majority of people will be too wary of the hurricanes to schedule trips during September this year so we'll practically have the place to ourselves. :)
