We just returned from OKW, and I am working on our april 3-10th 2004 trip. We were in a 2BR, and now my dad wants us to stay in a similar place for the next trip. (Dad lives in FL and meets us there). I have ressies for Pop century, but brother and sister in law and niece will be joining us, so we need either another room at PC, or something like we had this month. We don't want to pay rack rate, or holiday rate for points for a DVC unit. Is there any resorts that have a suite feel to them? A separate bedroom and sitting room areas? He also liked the kitchen, he has a special diet he follows and makes some of his own meals. But the kitchen isn't absolutely necessary, he can bring things with him. What is out there and what is the rate??? I know about the FW Cabins, not really what we are looking for. I have stayed in them before, nice but not right for this trip. I'm also familiar with WLV, BCV, and BWV, is there anything else out there? He liked having the place to just hang out and relax when not in the parks.

Thanks to anyone and everyone for your input.

Doubletree Guest Suites in DTD. But, if you liked OKW, you will probably NOT like DGS.

What about renting an entire vacation home off site - for example some near Oscela Parkway and 535

As for on property the only other thing I can think of are the suites in some of the hotels - I tried to post ***********.com URL but looks like the mods have blocked it

But I have heard these are always at rack and cost big bucks

Thanks

Swan/Dolphin offer suites at discounted rates. No kitchens, but, 1 or 2 bedrooms with a separate parlor area

There are the suites at the WL. They have a bedroom with 2 queen beds and and separate living area with a hideaway bed in the couch. It also has a very small fridge and a sink area. I don't know if all 5 of you want to stay there, but would fit. I think it holds up to 6. Have a great time.
