Now that everything is pretty much paid for and finalized (cruise, airfare, passports) we are starting to talk about how much more money we should have set aside for all the extras (excursions, drink classes, shopping, hotel, rental car, fun stuff before and after the cruise), and, um, yikes! We did prepay gratuities and I'm so thankful for that. What else am I not thinking of that we need to plan to pay while we are there, outside of the cruise itself? I may be cancelling my Remy dinner that is way too pricy, and I only signed up for because I read everyone's reviews of how life changing it is. I'm thinking we can do without that. lol.

I did the prepaid gratuities over the phone.

No parking-we will return the rental car at port and then get another one after the cruise.
Cruise pictures- still on the fence about that- but that is a good one- I wasn't thinking about that. I'm a photographer but I want all the cheesy posed family pictures that we are all in, not just pictures I took of the rest of the family.
Gas for rental car is another I hadn't thought of.
Food. Ah, yes. With a teenager who ALWAYS orders the most expensive item on the menu, and just 3 hungry kids in general, food is a big one to factor in.

You can go to mycruisephotos.com and choose our cruise and see the packages available. If I'm not mistaken, it is slightly less expensive to do it in advance. But I could be wrong. Anyway, this will give you an idea.
