Still mobile - but no roller coasters - no fast rides - DH on heart medication
We can easily walk 3 - 5 miles a day with stops for rides and TS

What are the best rides for us to do in each park ?
Which should have a FP+ ?

Thank you

I've only been to Epcot and Magic Kingdom, so I will only comment on those.
You can ride most rides at both parks since most are family rides.

MK:
Peter Pan's Flight
The Adventures of Winnie the Pooh
The Little Mermaid ride
It's a Small World
Dumbo Flying Elephant
Magic Carpets of Aladdin

There are so many.

Epcot:
Journey into the Imagination with Figment
Nemo Ride
Three Caballeros
Frozen Ever After

Something that we do (since I have back problems) and we got my in-laws to do since they are in their 60s/70s, we pull up the rides on YouTube and watch a few videos of each ride to get a feel for whether or not it would be a good choice for us. We hate to miss out, but we also hate to risk injury on vacation.
ETA: YouTube videos are also helpful if you have a person in your family with anxiety or autism. It lets them know what to expect and helps relieve some anxiety about the unknown.

My parents in their 70's still do things like TT, Splash, 7DMT, TOT.... but if you guys are not up for them then just avoid the thrill rides.
Sitck to the mild ones like Pirates, Haunted Mansion, Soarin', Spaceship Earth, Frozen Ever After etc.

At EPCOT I'd also suggest Soarin' as well as Spaceship Earth (Not Mission Space). Here would be a tentative plan for EPCOT (You can't do it all in one day, don't even try)
RD Soarin- go directly there and don't get sidetracked by Spaceship Earth! Soarin' should be okay unless DH has equilibrium/dizziness problems.
Visit the Land Pavilion. Have a FP for Living with the land around 10.
Ride Figment, visit Pavilions.
Head up to Frozen where you'll have a FP for around 11-11:30 or later. This ride does have a short backward drop in it.
Check out Norway and Mexico, ride 3 Caballeros. Maybe Lunch in Mexico.
Spend some time in WS but don't go too far- you can't see it all so don't even try. Take time to watch as many shows as you can. Try Agent P- It's fun and everyone can be a kid again!
Head back down the east side of WS- or take the boat from Germany to Mexico if it's running.
Use your last FP at Spaceship Earth, see what the wait is at Nemo and check out The Seas Pavilion.
Call it a day!

I forgot about the Living with the Land ride at Epcot. That is a good one to go on.

All the rides in Fantasy Land except the roller coaster.
Haunted Mansion - get a FP
Pirates of the Caribbean
People Mover
Under the Sea
Jungle Cruise
Carousel of Progress
Buzz Lightyear

Epcot
Everything except Mission:Space Orange.
Spaceship Earth
Seas with Nemo
Living With the Land
Journey Into Imagination
Frozen Ever After - get a FP

DHS
Not much there - see the shows
Toy Story Mania will be fine - get a FP

AK
Flight of Passage might be fine. Have you been on Soarin'?
Na'vi River - get a FP
Safari can be bumpy but isn't fast.

I even checked out Universal Studios next door
Only kiddie rides were OK with a heat condition, 1- fish, 2-fish , Seussel, Barney, Curious George,....
WDW seems better for us

I hope I don't get old because I especially like thrill rides. The scarier the better. Unfortunately WDW is lacking in that respect.
(Don't tell anyone but I'm in my 70s)

The scariest ride I ever experienced at WDW was a bus ride from poly to AK. We were standing and I swear he never slowed below 70 even on the hwy ramps.

I cannot do “circle” rides. I got sick on the carousel. Dumbo is frightening to me.
I normally make a deal with my DH that I will ride big thunder with him if he will ride splash with me. ( he hates getting wet and refuses Kali River) I did Mission Space when it first opened. There was no green side then.
What you can ride is such a personal thing. We haven’t been to universal in years because there is very little that my tummy will tolerate.

Grandpa (a very fit 60-something) did fine with one ride on the Barnstormer. He swore off roller coasters two decades ago after a Universal coaster sent him to the chiropractor, but he came along on granddaughter's first ride. Not sure if that would be okay with a heart condition, but it's the mildest of thrills.

We always FP Peter Pan because everyone can ride it, and the line gets very long. Jungle Cruise also has significant lines.

Here is what my mom liked:

MK:

Here most everything can be ridden with the exceptions of Splash Mountain, BTMRR and 7DMT
  • Jungle Cruise ( FP - the line moves very slowly )
  • Peter Pan ( FP - very popular so it's a long line always )
  • Winnie the Pooh ( FP - another popular one )

EP:

Here there isn't too much to avoid except maybe Test Track. It just goes fast but it does have one part of it that jerks a bit when it's doing one of the 'tests'.
  • Soarin - this is smooth and glides more than jerky movements ( FP unless you plan to do a RD )
  • Living with the Land - another good one to get off your feet if you are interested in plants/farming/gardening.
  • Spaceship Earth - get to get off your feet - if you do this a bit later in the afternoon the lines are typically not so bad.
  • FEA - FP this one is tough to get

HS:

Avoid RNRRC, ToT and Star Wars - all are high adrenaline and ToT and SW can jerk you around a bit. We didn't do Slinky Dog so I'm not sure what that one is like.

  • Fantasmic - FP, the general admission area is very small. They fill up quite a bit of the theater with the dessert parties and dinner pairing.
  • TSMM - FP ( unless you decide to do Slinky Dog - then FP that one )

AK:

FoP is an awesome ride, but check out a video of it on youtube 1st - it's more glide-like vs. jerky but the ride vehicles could be an issue if someone has a back problem. If you decide to do this one - definitely try for a FP. River Navi is great and if you do it early in the day ( RD ) or later in the evening the wait times drop. Pandora is one part of the park I recommend you see twice - once during the day and then again at night.
