Seniors Unite: Class of 2010 Thread

This thread is for all you Seniors out there who are going to rule your school this upcoming year. Are you already feeling Senioritis? Are you thinking about your Senior Prank? Do you have a chance at Valedictorian? What is your schedule for this year?

Wooo!

The first part of this year is gonna be brutal with applications and all that. I'm gonna call it quits with school once I get into the college of my choice for sure.

I'm not one for thinking of great pranks but I'll help any friends out with theirs as long as it won't end with us being expelled.

My school does the whole valedictorian thing in such a weird way. Basically anyone with a weighted GPA over 4.0 will get it. I'll get it for sure but there's no way I'm gonna be ranked #1 in my class. Top 10% maybe.

IB English HL 2
IB Math Studies SL
IB Topics with History HL
IB Latin SL 2

I'm not feeling senioritis just yet, but I'm sure I will be. Once I get excepted into my universities I'll probably start slacking haha.
Right now we don't have any plans for the prank.
I don't have a chance at being valedictorian lol. I am in the top 5% of my class but I'm not number one.

Schedule:
English College Literature II (H)
Pre-calculus (H)
Spanish
Physics II (H)
Computer Tech class

Also I might be taking some college courses over the year which will count as credits toward college.

My school doesn't have valedictorian because its impossible to figure out. We have about 20 students at the number 1 rank. Actually...we don't have rank anymore at my school. Our class is the first class without a rank. Yay! hahah
Our graduation speakers can be anyone and they try out for the spot. Last years were really good and funny.
As for a prank...we've got a real strict administration and police force in our area so pranks never really happen. Last year they put the soccer nets on top of the school...yah...

AP Psych, AP Calc, AP Studio Art, AP Environmental, Honors Writing Seminar, Independent Photo, Sociology, and Gym. Hahah =)
I just got my senior portraits back. They are decent. How are your guys?

University of Minnesota.
Purdue.
Western, Central, and Northern Michigan.
University of Colorado Boulder and Denver.
Colorado State University.

I've started applications already, U of M's app is out and Purdue's is coming out soon. This whole process is a little overwhelming. But I'm completely excited to go to college!

So far I'm planning on Applying to Umass Boston, Lowell, and Amherst and I'm gonna apply to Suffolk University in Boston. Right now I haven't decided what I want to major in so I'm having a tough time decided on where to apply. What about you?

Same here. I really want to major in photography, but my parents aren't so big on that idea. Now I'm thinking of double majoring with photography and something business or education so I can either teach photography/graphic design or have my own studio or business.

I'm gonna do some combination of Classics/Classical studies, Classical+Near-Eastern Archaeology, and Latin. I'll have to sort all that out a little later.

I definitely need to think of some more colleges to apply to just to be safe though. A list of 5 looks so small on paper. idk though
