So my senior quote is due Friday, if I want one, which I kind of do...help?

1) "Limits, like fears, are often imagined" - Micheal Jordan

2) "Keep your feet on the ground when your heads in the clouds" - Paramore (a song lyric)

Or any others? My friend and I are all lost of ideas.

“The key to immortality is first living a life worth remembering.”
--Bruce Lee

"I'd rather regret the things I have done than the things that I haven't." - Lucille Ball

I wish it was said by someone with more "clout" but as I look back at life so far this is the thing that I have found to be the most true.

I dunno, FireDancer. While Lucille Ball may not have the historic importance we'd like to associate with such a meaningful quote, you have to remember, especially in the 40's and 50's, she did have a lot of clout.

Wait a minute! What about the quote in your signature????

Just a little correction if you use quote #2. Make sure you add the apostrophe to the word head's (as in head is in the clouds) - otherwise it sounds like you have two heads :goodvibes

A quote is so personal. Just do some research and I am sure you will find something that is "you".

I am almost 45 so I have so many quotes I can identify with.

Currently my favorite is...."Make It Work" from Tim Gunn.

It is simple and the state of my life right now.;)

Well, if you're gonna be that way ;)... if the OP uses the first quote, the athlete's name is spelled Michael (not Micheal) Jordan.

"A man who carries a cat by the tail will learn something he can learn in no other way" - Mark Twain

"Experience is what you get when you don't get what you want"

"Sometimes you win. Sometimes you lose. And sometimes, it rains"

Isn't there something you say on a regular basis that you'd like to use instead of a famous person's words? I think it would have more meaning to you now and when you look back if it's something you have said.

Here are some:

“When a dog runs at you, whistle for him.”

“Happiness is not a station to arrive at, but a manner of traveling.” – Margaret Lee Runbeck

“Open your eyes, and dream.”

“It’s kind of fun to do the impossible.” – Walt Disney

“The main thing is to keep the main thing the main thing.”

“We should not let our fears hold us back from pursuing our hopes.” – John F. Kennedy

“Do not follow where the path may lead. Go instead where there is no path, and leave a trail.”

“After all, success in life is not how well we execute Plan A; it’s how smoothly we cope with Plan B.” – Sarah Ban Breathnach

“Carrying a grudge is like drinking poison and expecting the other guy to die.”

Flatter me, and I may not believe you.
Criticize me, and I may not like you.
Ignore me, and I may not forgive you.
Encourage me, and I will not forget you.

"Don't walk ahead of me, I may not follow. Don't walk behind me, I may not lead. Just walk beside me, and be my friend."

My senior quote was:
"Dictionary is the only place that success comes before work. Hard work is the price we must pay for success. I think you can accomplish anything if you're willing to pay the price" -Vince Lombardi

but i also really liked this one:

"In the end, it's not the years in your life that count, but the life in your years"

The one I used 20 years ago for my senior quote (holy cow!) was:

"If you can dream it, you can do it." - Disney Imagineers.

"To be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to make you something else is the greatest accomplishment."

"Our greatest glory is not in never failing, but in rising up everytime we fail."
