Sending Packages to resort

Has anyone sent a package to the resort prior to your arrival? I wanted to know what I need to do. Do I send it under my name or the resorts name?

This is what someone here told me.

Hotel Name
your name/reservation number
date of trip
hotel address

I'm about to send a pakage UPS on Tuesday for my trip on the 2nd.

Just did this yesterday - I can't believe we're so close to our trip! This is what we did.

c/o {Resort name} front desk
Hold for guest arrival {date}
address

On the all sides of the box I wrote our name & arrival date. My DH taped it up real good - not just on the top & bottom but a couple of strips around the whole box for added support. We also added some newspaper to the inside of the box for a little cushion. We shipped UPS (Maine) - it cost us $33 - the box was 30 lbs but I believe they charged by the dimensions - its a big box!
