I fell off the wagon yesterday on a scheduled "cheat" day and today did well until I just found out exactly how wonderful Edy's Grand Light Cookie Dough ice cream is! I had some pts left for the day and thought I'd just sample it, after all I wasn't really that hungry! Well, I'm sure I ate more than 1/2 cup, even after I told my PM buddy I could just eat 1/2 cup ice cream! Problem this time was I didn't scoop it out, so I lost myself in it! Yes, straight from the carton!!!!

Ok, I had to confess so I don't feel like a fraud. Please send me lots of PD to get through this PMS!!!

Hugs.....tomorrow is abouther day and another clen slate to work on. Everyone slips up everyonce in a while. What you need to do, is brush yourself off, and get right back on the loss wagon. No looking back, just put on those blinders and keep right on going. No use crying over spilled milk right?

Now don't get too excited thinking that you are off the hook - you know his favorite pastime is - eating ice cream out of the carton and I can see that even with all that childhood training of "we dish" ice cream into bowls, in a desparate moment it was a relapse to your younger years. So............... I can let it go this time but next time..............

Well, you could go read TigH's journal and start some of that exercising that she does or you can just go read some of the words of wisdom you have posted to others "don't beat yourself up - move on". I vote for the latter and it will be okay.

If nobody has tried it before, Edy's makes a light product called French Silk, it is DELICIOUSLY good, light or not, it is the best ice cream I've ever had & it's just a really good thing I don't have any in the house right now <crying....>

LOL! No - it was a brand new carton! As a matter of fact my oldest DD asked me if she could have some a few days ago and I told her "NO!" I went on to explain that is was light ice cream and wouldn't be as good as she would expect ice cream to be, blah blah blah blah......Last night I told DH that he and DDs needed to eat it up!! Until then, I am going to put it in a grocery sack and take it back out to the deep freeze in the garage! There!

....all that childhood training of "we dish" ice cream into bowls...

yea right, Mom, whatever. what fun is that?

Oh no, the ice cream thing, been there done that!! You're not alone. I can just eat one chip or take one bit of toast but when it come to ice cream I know better to even take that first bite!! The only way it could be any worse than ice cream is if it was Moose Tracks ice cream!! I would literaly eat the whole carton if I took just one bite!!!

Pick up the pieces and move on. Get back into your diet groove and hop back on the bandwagon. We're here for you!

That's just GREAT Molli---didn't you learn anything from Dr. Phil today? (just kidding)

His show was on obese children and how they are obese primarily because of the habits the parents teach them....I'm certain however, that one big cone of Edy's Grand Light Cookie Dough won't put her over the edge!

UGH! I really wanted to see that show (to see how/if the children had changed), but our channel covered the weather for more than 2 hours straight. I think everyone knew it was raining or going to rain already! An update at the commercial breaks would have been fine with me.
