I've been catching up with the podcasts since I bought an iPhone in August. Just watched this video and I have to say...
  1. Bob looked younger and thinner than I imagined. Listening to the podcasts and the way he jumbled his words, I assumed he was older and in not so good health. He seemed like a very nice man.
  2. This video made me laugh out-loud! And that doesn't happen very often. Except for episodes of Tosh.O, Arrested Development or Strangers With Candy. Great job Pete. Loved the comments and music.

I also started listening to the podcasts after Bob had already passed away. I think people must have liked Bob because it sure seemed like he just didn't have a pretentious bone in his body. He seemed to be the type of guy that never had an enemy only friends.

He also strikes me as someone who wasn't impressed with someones money, fame, or importance, but just whether or not you were nice.

Now I am willing to bet on two things.
1) That people for the most part agree with me, or even add on to what I am saying.

2) That I never knew or met him, or even heard him till after he died, and I was able to peg him.

How would you like to be such a great guy that people would say these things about you, and they never even met you, and just heard you on some internet podcast recorded a thousand miles away.

I hope that when I die someday, I will have been able to fill half of one of Bob's shoes. I wish I would have known him.
