So we have been to Disney World 8 times so we know how to play the game for the most part.

However looks like this June me and DS will be making for stay on-site (8 to 14). I am trying to get a handle on the FP+ stuff and not getting as many rides as normal. Think I have sort of a handle on this.

My question is to you awesome DISers.....EMH. We are morning people so not that big of a deal. It the value worth it to go to those parks on those days. We have always stayed away from those parks in the past. I have no experience in what it look like.

Do you guys think that EMH and Rope drop to hit a good amount of attractions and rides, and then FP+ in the afternoon/evening?

If you are up and at the park with morning EMH at the time it opens, it is worth it. You'd be surprised at the people who just won't get up early on vacation. You'd also be surprised at the number of on-site guests who still go to the EMH park even if they don't get up early. So, you probably will want park hoppers to hop to another park later in the day.

Rule of thumb at this point in the FP+ saga is to hit up early EMH, hop to another park and use FP+ at the second park.

If you are planning on hopping then early EMH are probably OK. You can definitely get a bunch done before crowds start rolling in. If you aren't hopping tho, I would probably stay away. I am not a Disney veteran at all but have read lots and it seems that for whatever reason folks go to the EMH park evening EMH are already over. My past trip in Dec (I made FP+ before tiering in epcot and HS, but was staying at Pop so had no access to paper FPs), I was at RD every morning around 40 mins before the park opened and rode rides while low waits. Then hopped and used FP+ in the afternoon. This was the week after thanksgiving where parks were projected to be a 4 crowd level on easywdw. This worked for me quite well. The only thing I would do differently in the future is not ever hop to Epcot and plan to use FP+ there. IMO, you basically get 1 real one and 2 throw aways....I can't do mission space and the other rides don't need FP+.....well maybe now they do...I haven't looked at wait times recently. I would just plan on being at Epcot at RD and do the rides then and hop to MK to get full advantage of my FPs. Happy planning!
