I found this, and I thought I had to put it on DIS.
Starting tomorrow a man is selling everything he has.
A car, a motorbike, a jetski, kitesurfing gear, a great lifesyle, a bunch of new friends, and even a job.

I think the idea is interesting and quite "feel good movie-esque" . I think his intentions are good and if he feels comfortable doing this then more power to him. It's so sad, what with (I'm assuming) the death of his wife, so I say go for it, because someone who has lost everything, their world, deserves a second chance at happiness.

That's awesome. C'mon, isn't that something everybody's dreamed of doing at some point-- just dropping everything, catching the next plane outta there, and taking things as they come? I am a little sad for him, that he felt bad enough over a breakup to want to leave his entire life behind, but dang... wouldn't that just be cool?

I don't think he's a wimp who can't handle things-- he sounds more like a guy who'd get bored with *anything* after a while and moving on would be great for him. I'd love to hear what happens to him afterward. =)

Seems like his friends are all cool with it, as they're in on the deal, and I suppose he's already living away from his parents. He's single, too, which is sort the reason for the whole thing.

But I see your point. If this were someone else, in a different situation, it probably wouldn't be so easy to leave everybody behind. And there may be someone in this guy's case unhappy with his decision. I don't know. :|
