Selling remaining days on EBAY

What are people's thoughts on this? I was only able to use 2 days of my 3 day park hopper, and now I see people selling the remaining day for upwards of 50 dollars a ticket. I am torn, I would love to have the money for my tickets - But is it ok?

Is it done - yes. Is it OK? Well depends on who you ask. Disney rules strictly forbid it and state that a ticket must be used by the same person and they are not transferrable. Personally, I would never buy a used ticket, or a new one for that matter, from EBay. You don't know who you are buying from, you have no idea what you will get, and personally I just think it isn't OK.

Read the top of your ticket......... "Not for resale. Void if altered. Nonrefundable. Admit one. Nontransferable; must be used by the same person on any and all days. May not be sold, bartered, nor exchanged for goods, services or benefits."

i think the problem with buying tickets on ebay is that we dont know if its used or not until you show up at the ticket gate... if all days are used or expired, your pretty much screwed...

Even if it WAS okay (which it is not, as previous posters have already said), your countdown ticker says that it's been 9 days since your DL vacation. By the time you ran an auction, got paid, and mailed the ticket to the buyer, you would have most likely sold someone an expired ticket. Parkhoppers are only good for 14 days after the first use.

I was going to overnight them. But I have decided not to sell them and just keep them as souvenirs. The poor side of me is kicking itself, but the moral side is smiling BTW, I think people buy the used days mostly to upgrade to APs before they expire - they get the face value of the ticket toward the AP (I believe). Anyway, I decided to do what is right
