I don't understand - you can request a disbursement from Amazon whenever you want. Otherwise I think they disburse twice a month.

You just click on the 'sell on amazon' button and go from there. I will say I only sell books on Amazon. You should familiarize yourself with shipping costs before selling things. What Amazon will give you for shipping may not cover the entire shipping cost so you need to be sure you won't lose money before listing an item.

When you first sign up for an Amazon Merchant account and you make your first sale, they require that you wait a certain amount of time (maybe a few weeks or so) before they disburse your funds. This is their way of ensuring your new account or the items you are selling are fraudulent.

I've sold my DD's college text books on Amazon for a few years now. When I sold the first one, I did have to wait a little while before I could get the money. I think that they want to be sure that there isn't a problem and give the buyer enough time to make a claim.

After that, I have not had any problems selling or getting paid.
