Due to some changes in our family, we are thinking about selling our DVC membership. What is the best way to find out how to go about doing this?

If you have a buyer, you can call Member Accounting and they can describe what they will need. If you need help finding a buyer I'd call a resale broker, like The Timeshare Store and they can walk you thru the process.

Basically, you will need to submit the offer you accept from your buyer to DVC for ROFR. Once the offer has cleared ROFR, you can continue with the closing process. The resale brokers will handle all details for you.

You will read about several DVC resale companies if you do some research. The big ones are highly reputable and reliable. They charge around 10% commission.

If you price it a smidgen below market, it should sell fast, perhaps in hours.
