I am considering adding on to my contract thru Disney at a different resort, same use year. Here's my question: If I ever want to sell, do I have to sell the whole thing as one contract with two home resorts, or can I sell the two separately?
Thanks!

you can sell separately.

(that's how i wound up getting a 40 point contract through resale.)

If you add on at the same resort, can you still sell points separately?

Can you sell part of your points from a contract? For instance, if we purchased 200 points in SSR on our initial contract, can we choose to sell 100 of them?

Contracts can not be broken up. I own 225 points at BWV .

I bought 200 first then added on 25 . If I choose I could sell one or the other or both.

I could keep the 200 points and sell the 25 or keep the 25 points and sell the 200 .

I can not break up the 200 to keep 100 and sell the other 100.

1. You also can not sell a contract with an add-on as one single contract.

Example:

You buy a master contract for 150 points
Later you buy an add-on of 50 points

If you want to sell all 200 points -- it is two contracts being sold with two deeds and two closings.

2. If you sell a contract where there are multiple contracts with the same membership number then you need to see how points were allocated for that specific contract.

Same example as above but you a reservation for 250 points. You use 75 points banked from prior year, all 150 points from current year and borrow 25 points from next year. Next year you sell the 150 point master contract. It is likely that member services borrowed those 25 points from the master, but it is also possible they borrowed it from the add-on. Now with the online access we know for sure, but before you would need to call to find out.
