Selling DVC Contract

I am considering sellnig one of my DVC contracts (Beach club). I have the paperwork to list with a re-seller. Is there a better option?

You could rent out your points each year. BCV is very popular so I don't think you'd have a problem. If you do it yourself you'd likely get twice the cost of dues. If that's more effort than you're wanting to do you could do it through one of the rental sites (David's is a sponsor here) and get close to twice the cost of dues.

The other easy option is to see if you can, each year, find a member who wants your points as a transfer in to their member account. If that works, it's one call to MS to request the transfer. I prefer transfers over renting points when we need extra points - then they're in my account and I control the reservation. But, finding someone willing to do a transfer is hard since you only get one per year.

We've sold 2 contracts, one we sold ourselves, the other thru a re-seller. Although we were told how easy it was to do it yourself, maybe we just didn't "get it" because we found it well worth going with a re-seller with the second one we sold.
