hello everyone. I used to be a big Disney Pin collector but I'm not into it anymore. I have decided to sell them. How do I know if any are valuable and where would be the best place to sell them?
Also, I would suggest going to www.pinpics.com and finding the specific pin. Look at the two fields in the description, "Members Wanting" and "Members Trading". The higher the ration between wanting and trading can give an idea of the relative value. For example, some of the older Figment pins have numbers over 100 in the wanting and numbers less than five in the trading; these sell for about $200 on eBay (when they come up).
Definitely check closed auctions on eBay, then decide if it's worth it or not. There are a lot of scrapper sellers on eBay so be aware of that as well. Not saying you have scrappers (in fact when you list them PM me your name and I'll add you to the list of eBay sellers that you can find by following the link in my signature) just letting you know. Read a few auctions by some trusted sellers to get ideas on how to list your pins as well. Good luck!
