Hi! We leave for WDW on Sat. Is there any place inside of WDW where I can buy these shoes? Everyone said they are the most comfortable shoes instead of sandels. Please help?

After being in and out of pretty much every store on property this past week- we only saw "crocs" (they were actually knock-offs) at Summer Sands in Downtown Disney. I think they were $20 and only came in Khaki. Hope this helps!

I didn't realize how popular these shows are....every 4th person seems to be wearing them at Disney....men and boys too. Maybe I should try a pair on...I am just having a hard time getting past the look of them.

I emailed Crocs management about this a few months back and they said their very close to being in USF and are working with WDW and Six Flags as we speak!

Can someone tell me, are they better than wearing a good pair of tennis shoes? Do you wear socks with them, or just barefooted. What about blisters?

We wore them to wdw last fall, and so many people asked us if we bought them at wdw.

DJP123 - For me, they are better than wearing good tennis shoes. The socks/no socks is a matter of preference - I prefer without. My family of 3 wore them to wdw last fall (and it was HOT) for 2 whole weeks, and no blisters. :)

From what I have seen, you can get Croc's or a knock off version of them just about anywhere shoes are sold. Even our Bass Pro Shop here carries them. Somehow I can't picture myself going fishing or hunting wearing them but my DD loves to wear her's everywhere.

Check out this link to the Crocs website to find locations in your home town. http://www.crocs.com/shop/find_crocs/find_crocs.jsp I just bought my DD a pair from StrideRite yesterday and had to ask the store personnel whether or not they carried them because none were on the shelves yet. I guess they just got them in recently and hadn't tagged them yet. I love them! :thumbsup2 The bonus - my very picky daughter loves them too! :cool1:

I don't know how far Bob's stores reach but Crocs are sold at Bob's. I have heel spurs and I found that the cheaper versions from WalMart don't work for me. Payless shoes has a cheaper version of Crocs for $14.99 and I wear them all the time. They are the only shoe that doesn't bother the heel spurs.

They are only ugly until you own a pair. My hubby ( 6'7"...265 pounds) wears them, as do my sons, ages 23 and 17! My 15 year old daughter has 2 pairs, and I have 5! I don't think they are ugly anymore. I just hate when I have to wear another type of shoe.

The Walmart and Target knockoffs are in looks only not in comfort. Spend the extra 4.99 and get the payless knock offs if you don't wan to spend the full amount on the crocs. I have 5 pair of crocs and really love them. Right now I have all the neutral colors--black (nile), black(professional), brown(caymen), navy(beach), and khaki (either beach or caymen--I forget!). I also have tie dyed, pink and blue from payless--these I use in the house, and in the garden. I finally have my DH hooked--DD has been for a while. DS still won't touch them!
They have done wonders for me! No more ankle pain, no more heel spur pain, no knee, back or hip pain. I love these shoes!

I think Disney should start making them with different characters on them. I bet they would make a fortune, Disney Crocs :)

I can only tell you why they are better for me :goodvibes
First of all in the summer I'm a no socks and sandal girl. Practically from April to Oct...as longas I can possibly stretch it. (I'm in Canada eh!) So yes you can wear without socks.

Secondly the shoe feels like a foam material, pliable but sturdy. The "magic" of Crocs and other knock-offs to some extent I'm sure is that the material CONFORMS to YOUR foot. I'm guessing this is better for support. Also I'm not sure how to describe it but the material will stay with you when you walk. In a flip-flop for example your toes actually curl to keep the shoe on your foot producing a tired foot after a while.

Thirdly Crocs are so light and are meant to be extremely roomy therefore no contact points for blisters. :thumbsup2

I have done (2) week long trips to Disney in my Crocs and no blisters or sore, aching feet. Now my feet were still tired mind you, but after a week of walking nearly 5 miles a day whose wouldn't be? Just not the same sore aching tired feeling I get walking in other shoes.

These are now my only long distance walking shoe.

OMG! I would be first in line for Disney Crocs!!!!!!!

I so hope this happens!

Yes, there is a Crocs store in the Orlando airport. :hippie:

This is great. Do you know which store? Do they have a full variety; Caymans, Niles, Athens, kids??????

ETA: I'm not sure I could resist Disney Crocs but my husband would have a fit :rotfl2: Already he asks "how many pairs do you need?" I only have one I tell him but I just bought the girls some so he is so easily confused when it comes to womens shoes. I just tell him women are to shoes as men are to tools!
