sell me your high chair!!

I pull her chair around all the time. Dining chairs move. ;) (ETA: I should say kitchen chair as we have a kitchen table and eat in the kitchen.)

We had a similar chair as well. And I'm with you. We moved it all over the place since chairs move just as easily as a full high chair and yet these don't take up the space. We used ours for about 4 years and it was great.

We have a chico (it was a gift and more than I likely would have spent) I HATE it lol. It has some nice features but the bad outweighs the good on this chair for me. I'd go with a space saver one if I had decided myself. I guess it depends on what your needs are... I'm actually in the process of phasing out this chair and maybe getting one of the restaurant style wooden ones to just pull up to our table. GL.

I don't remember what mine was, but it was plastic. My neighbor had a high-end metal chair (Peg Perego maybe?). She came over one day while I was hosing mine down in the driveway and said that she wished she hadn't bought a metal chair, because she couldn't turn the hose on it. Just something to think about. :)

I have the fisher price one as well, and the one down side is it does not fit under my table as a booster, as the side of my table is to low, so check yours!

Other ten that it was a great seat for when he was little but by 15mth he wanted to sit with the big people, so he is now in a coshee booster.

When my daughter was little, I ended up getting just a basic $30ish high chair despite hearing and reading about how it was best to have one with wheels, that folded up, etc. The top came off of mine with 1 hand and it reclined slightly, but those were about the only "frills" it had. It was one of the best purchases I made - that thing sat in one corner of my dining room and never moved. I never needed to fold it up or move it around. I never even ended up with a situation where I stopped and thought "gee, I wish I could fold up this chair right now" or "gee, I wish I could roll this thing around right now".

So really stop and consider the features YOU need, for your lifestyle. What is key for one person, isn't key for another. If you need a feature, it can be worth it's weight in gold; if you don't, it's a just money waster!
