self parking to the GC

With the self parkinking how far is it from the parking lot to the front door? I am thinking I might do concierge but $12.00 a day seems a little steep to me.

The parking lot is directly across the street from the GC...even if you are at the far end of the lot, it is only a short walk. The longest part of the walk back to the hotel is waiting to for the WALK signals at the intersection

Remember, you can pull right up to the Hotel to check in, get your luggage off loaded and then just tell valet services that you will self park and they will give you directions to get to the parking lot across the street. You won't be shlepping any luggage from the self park to the hotel, so no worries!

Well, one can always worry about the weather....though not so much in southern California

BTW, you will love staying at the Grand Californian...be sure and do a breakfast buffet at Storytellers. Oh, and a dinner to! I get to have dinner there in three weeks...with some DISers that I will be cruising with on DCL in November...can't wait!
