self park price at hotels?

I thought it was only $10 a night for the self park when staying onsite at universal hotels. I just got my confirmation for the room and it states $12. Was just wondering.

I was at RPR June 9-17 and it was 10$ then.

I received an e-mail conformation today for my stay at Portofino Bay and it states a $10 self parking charge.
I have cut and paste from that e-mail.

Policies
Deposit 1 night room rate, plus tax
Cancellation 5 days prior to arrival
Check-in time 4:00 pm
Check-out time 11:00 am
Room Tax 11.5%
Self Parking $10 per night

thanks for the replies. I received a confirmation from a manager because the price dropped but it did not state it and she does have self parking at $12. I checked the previous confirmation (which has the wrong room rate) and it does state $10. Wonder if they plan on raising the prices.

Universal's website says-

Choice of self or valet parking is available.

Valet parking is $18 per day.

Self-parking is $12 per day.

Wow, looks like it did. I thought it just went up from 8 to 10 recently? Seems like its getting ridiculous to me.

I just checked our HRH confirmation for next month, & the parking fee listed is $10. The confirmation is from 5/28, when we upgraded to PV. I don't know what's going on with the parking fees, but we'll have our confirmation in hand & expect to pay $10. I don't anticipate any problems.

Valet parking is complimentary for handicapped guests. We used it on our PBH stay in May 2005 and we only had to tip the valet. Just make sure that you are not "accidentally" charged for parking. On a few nights of our stay, we were, and we had to talk with the club staff. We had no problem getting the charges removed.

Just got back today - you can count on $10.00 per day at RPR PLUS .65 "parking tax." Never heard of that before, but you can bet the local government board that is responsible is loving it!
