Self catering

Hi,
I'm a newby to the site...(have stayed in the disneyland hotel before - just the once) we're off to davy crockett's for the first time from 12 -17 April- 2 noisy kids aged 4 and 6 and it has 2 bedrooms!!!

My queries are - is the davy crocketts on site grocery shopping any good?
How far away is the Auchan supermarket?
Is it worth taking time out for grocery or other shopping? We have a few days (4 whole disney days!!!! and 2 half ones...)

The grocery store at DCR is not to bad. Stocks milk, beer, wine, various foodstuffs. Personally we intend to make the trip to Auchan for great choice and better price
