Checker Cabs and the Yellow Cab Company I think are the two main taxi services in Orlando and they get you from A to B without too many problems and are reasonably a good value from money.
However, please try to avoid the white taxi's (these are cars that look like the old style of American vehicles from the 70's). Reason for me telling you this is because - they don't have meters! - and will definitely try to overcharge you.
