We are in 5540 in Sept for our honeymoon so I am PSYCHED that its is one of he extended ones! Didn't even know - was one of the few "cheper" rooms available when we booked!

All Cat 5E's have the extended verandah except for 5524 or 5024. Avoid those rooms they have limited view and also people on the extended verandah's can view into your verandah so you have no privacy. Your stateroom does have the extended verandah, Congrats!

OMG!!! Thats our exact room for our first disney cruise/honeymoon! When I saw the room number I thought it would be close but its spot on!!!!!!!!!!!!! Loving the balcony,cant wait

You are right on the extended portion but you'll have the same sq ft. of privacy under the deck 6 verandahs. So if you want privacy don't go out on the extended part.

LOOKS GOOD ! CAN"T WAIT ! Have room 5546 on the Dream in MAY and again in Sept., also have the same room booked in MAY 2012 on the FANTASY. That room along with port side [5046] are the only two rooms with exten.-verandahs and no connecting door to the next room. In the 5-E forward area.

Take care of it! We have 5546 on the Fantasy in June!

Yay! Love they put the extra chairs on them. Thanks for posting!

Plus those extra chairs look like they recline. No need to go up top to the sun deck if you don't want to. Will come in handy for those who have small children who nap in the afternoon while you still want to tan.

Thanks for the photos! We have a 5E for the 2/6 cruise and I am so excited about the extended veranda! We have two little guys who will be taking naps and going to bed early so we will definitely be spending time on it (plus it's a nice big space for them to explore while they're awake).

Thanks for the wonderful pictures!!!! We're in 5534, 5546, and 5550. Wish I could have gotten our 3 rooms in a row, but I guess we'll just have to lean over the verandahs and shout at each other.

I guess I am in the minority and don't like these rooms for the privacy reasons, too. Nothin' like having everyone looking down at you

We're planning on sitting by the door (just like in a regular sized verandah) if we want privacy. Just thinking of the rest of the verandah as our own private sundeck. Now that being said - I wouldn't do anything on that portion that I wouldn't do on the deck by the pool.

The adult pool is topless, correct?
