Has anyone done this tour? DH and I with some friends want to do this tour. Does anyone have their photo and what the pin looks like? I'd be interested in seeing them. Thanks!!

DCA was the perfect place to have the segway tour. It's almost like the park was built for it. Lots of open space and concrete jungle of obstacles to meander through.

Oh what a cute pin! I must do it, if only for that pin. :) And I feel connected to the Segways b/c I was working at amazon when they were revealed after much backing by Jeff Bezos. :)

I'm bummed that hubby won't be able to join b/c of the weight limit, but by next year I'm sure he'll be 250 or under and he'll be able to go then. Plus, someone's got to watch the kiddo!

Good question!

We have been talking about doing this for the past year. In the next couple months me, my lady and my father and going for it!

It does seem that CA is the perfect place to zip around on a segway!

Our family went on the tour last January and had a blast. Our guides pointed out several hidden Mickey's too.

There was six of us and we were the only ones on the tour, our ages ranged from 20 - 51.:thumbsup2 Our kids have been hooked on segways since their first tour in Epcot in 2005.

I did the tour last September and it was a lot of fun! I liked it better than the tour at Epcot (which I have also done) because we got a lot bigger area for our "free time" than you get at Epcot...though right now with the Toy Story Mania construction most of the area we were in is inaccessible, so they've probably relocated that.

My husband loved this! We could actually see them from our balcony at the Grand Californian. He liked this segway tour better then the one at Epcot as well. It did however happen very early in the morning!

I am definitely considering this for my trip in May. DH and DS don't qualify for the experience but I can so see myself zipping around CA having the time of my life. Bumbershoot, I think you were on your own for this too.......maybe we should join forces.

Hi, we did this tour a couple of weeks ago and it was fantastic. It only takes a few minutes to get used to the segways (although for a moment there I thought I was going to crash it) and then you spend the next half hour or so doing the safety course, so they can make sure that you will be ok before going around the park.

Lots of update information given to you by your guides, like the California Dreams movie is going (with Whoopi) and will be a Little Mermaid ride, How Soarin almost didn't happen as the imagineers almost gave up on it and the hidden mickeys etc. (did everyone know that there is a hidden mickey on the golf ball in Soarin?)

You then get a group photo and the pin. We would highly recommend the tour.
