Hi Everyone! Is this somthing I have to book in advance or sign up the day of? Is it worth it? How much does it cost if anything?! Please let me know, thank you!! :rolleyes1

Here's a link to the DIS Tour page. The information about Segway Tours is toward the bottom.
I have been on the 2 hour Segway tour twice; one time was with my DH and the other time was with my oldest DD and my niece. We all thought it was great and lots of fun.
The tours are limited numbers of people for each class and do fill up quickly, so it's not something you would be likely to walk up to and get in.

My DH booked one yesterday for August 31. The cost was around $80 or so, but he got a discount because we have a Disney Visa and that's how he paid for it. That's for the 2-hour one.

We wanted to do this on our last trip but weren't able to book this. We won't be able to try it this trip because it will just be me and my mom and she would have nothing to do with it, but I am looking forward to doing this next trip with everything I have heard ;)

My wife and I took one of these in Washington. It was a 4-hour tour of the city and was a very economical $65 person. It was the absolute highlight of our trip and was worth every penny.

I'm planning on going on the 2 hour Segway tour in October with 3 of my friends. I got a discount because I'm a AAA member so if you do decide to do it, and are a member, don't forget to mention that! I haven't been on it yet but after I read all the raving reviews from everyone on the DISboards, we are going to try it out!

I did the 2 hour tour on my last visit, and it was great! A little hot, out in the sun with the helmet on, but really fun! The first hour is just instruction, so I don't think the 1 hour tour would be all that exciting as it's almost all indoors, but the second hour you get to roll around the World Showcase before it's generally open to the public.

I would do it again, and only wish they had others, or that they did not require the 1 hour training every tour...

Thanks everyone for your help. They are already booked for the entire week I will be there in October. W-O-W. They said that they normally book up 90 days in advance! We will have to plan to do this next time. Thanks everyone for your help!

:cheer2:
