With 1 rotation people are at Lumiere's for formal night, on another rotation they are at Lumiere's for semi-formal night.
And at the LAPLAPL we dont need to dress for Lumiere's for any time we are there because of 1st, last & tropical nights
So Im going with 3 scenarios because of Palos & Spa preferred times but Im not going to flip out once we checkin and are given our actual rotation

That is the way to think about it! I too am going to try to come up with all the scenerios, so that I am ready, but I am not going to worry too much!

That's what I did too.

Just because I like to plan, I roughed out what I wanted to do for each of the dining rotations (PLAPLAP, LAPLAPL, APLAPLA). Then, when we checked in and got our KTTW cards with the rotation, I knew when to go for our Palo's and spa ressies. I didn't bother to try to change rotations. Sure, I had preferences, but I just worked around what we got. Less stress that way.

Have fun!!

Hi!

I'm new to the cruising "thing", but are you saying that with LAPLAPL you never have to dress-up for Lumiere's? My hubby would be thrilled....So then which night and where would we dress up? The less, the better......

DH has been telling me all along that he is renting a tux for formal & semiformal nights. Besides that he is wearing shorts to the dining rooms! So DH, DS10.5 and I will dressup and go to whichever restaurant we are assigned for formal night. On semi-formal night Im hoping to get DH in to Palos, DS is thrilled to go get pizza!
If we have a Lumiere's night DH & I will try for the spa or Palos high tea.

We sailed last week and had the lap rotation. We were not in Lumieres for any night that you need to wear a jacket or tie. In fact I had to wear the same dress twice because I never got to wear the dressier dress I took along for the Lumieres regular night.

I'm taking the same approach. A couple of scenarios for Palo's and we will decide together once we get our dining rotation.

I have asked this question before, but never seem to get an answer. Since you are all "rotation" experts, here I go again....
If you have LAP rotation, does it go LAPLAPL? Or is the last night a repeat of the second last night? I remember hearing something about this, but I don't remember if maybe it was how the 4 night works.
Thanks,

On our 7 night the rotation was LAPLAPL so that we would have eaten in L for 3 nights, but we chose to do Palos one night instead.

On the 7 day, it's rotated. Basically, PLAPLAP, or APLAPLA, etc. You eat 3 times in the first restaurant of the location

I know that once upon a time, the 4 day had you eat in the same restaurant the last 2 nights, but I'm not sure if that's still the way it is. Is there a 4 day expert out there?
