I've been browsing the DLP official site, as you do, and out of curiosity I checked the price for our holiday dates in November. It came up as being over £500 more than I paid for it about a month ago! That's outrageous! I'm fluctuating between being highly chuffed that I've got such a great bargain, and completely and utterly puzzled at the massive price difference. Why on earth would the prices have gone up so much? :confused3

Did you book under a different offer to the present one?

It's nice when you realise you've got a bargain, isn't it! :goodvibes

Same offer! Am still puzzled, but definitely chuffed - there's no way we'd have stumped up for the DLH if it was at today's price.

I booked my hotel through clippers quay travel 5th June when it was 15% it's now 25% but same details put in and the quotes are more expensive

Well Gemma the 15% was off the old prices and the 25% off the new prices which are always higher so that how your price is lower but MrsSDW yours has me stumped. Is the availability gone and maybe its at a lower discount level?

We got a great offer for HNY in may and the offer seemed the same but the price was €200 dearer a few weeks after we booked. :confused3

The quote was for feb 13. so they take old prices for 2013 until June then start new prices

Their availability at the cheaper price must have went quickly so.

I think it's to do with offre and demande like airline tickets.

The further out you book when they start the special offers the cheaper the rooms are especially at DLH which they don't need to worry about filling even though the prices are ridic for what you get :confused3

Kizzabel, I booked in May too. Looks like we were just in the right place at the right time!

Carrie_Cat, that makes sense. Makes me wonder just how many rooms were available at the 'rock bottom' price that I managed to get.
