Hi all!

I am totally hoping to find someone here who can help me out.

We are staying at Marriott's Cypress Harbour for the first time - checking in 44 days from now (not that I'm counting or anything!)....

Can anyone help me out by advising me which building(s) to request? I know it isn't a guarantee, but I'd like to at least try. I really would like to be somewhat close to the main pool and main check in area if that is possible. I know it is a huge resort, and some of the buildings can be far out, but I am travelling by myself with kids and hoping to have a good spot.

Any other "tips" that anyone has on this resort that they care to share would also be totally appreciated!

thanks in advance for any help you can provide!
Cheryl

I have a jpeg of a cypress harbour map , I will try to attach it here if not send me a PM with your email and I will send it to you.We have stayed in building 53, 56, 57. All fairly close to the main pool and main building. If you have other questions let me know.

We've stayed there 4 times. It is a fantastic resort (and our favorite). You will love it. As for a building, we usually stay in 51 or 52 because we like the clubhouse pool best. It is great to have the room just a short walk from the pool if you need something. We did stay in 64 once. If your kids are heavy into the activities (sports, ect) you may want a room closer to the activity center where everything is going on. It is a hub of activity for the kids. Building 64 is nice because it is halfway between the island pool and the activity center.

Buildings 52 and 53 are on either side of the Main Clubhouse and the large Clubhouse Pool complex.

Buildings 65 and 64 are close to the Island Pool that's across the lake (via bridge) from the Clubhouse Pool. In my opinion, the Island Pool area is nicer than the Clubhouse Pool but it doesn't all the food/beverage options that are near the Clubhouse Pool.

As jeff968 mentioned, the activity center is at the end of the lake and buildings 62 and 63 are on either side of that area. There's a small pool area at the end of building 62 that's furthest away from the activity center (if you've seen a map, the pool is shown closer to building 60 but that isn't correct).

If you haven't seen a map, go here https://www.my-vacationclub.com/common/respages/pdf/resorts/cy/cy_sitemap.pdf

There are a lot of buildings at Cypress Harbour but it really isn't a huge resort. It's easily walkable for the able-bodied to the pool areas and the clubhouse from anywhere in the resort. I think that any of the buildings around the lake, except for 56, 55 and maybe 54 would work out for you. And on requesting buildings, we've only stayed there a couple of times but my experience is that the staff at Cypress Harbour do the best of any resort (anywhere!) to accomodate requests. I'd suggest that you call the resort about two weeks before your check in date and ask for the location that you want. And a lot of people call again with about a week to go and say that works for them (I've never done that and still gotten what I've asked for at this resort).

Enjoy this resort, it's a nice one.
